Today at the clinic 💙 Milo is being held by Erica, aren’t they adorable? And the cute fluff is Abigail and she is absolutely stunning. (Not up for adoption, they have homes already) We hope you are having a great day. ☺️

We want to thank HSWC Spay Clinic for having Pia and Erica shadow them last week. They were able to do a full walkthrough of the clinic, observed surgery and learned a lot about how they operate. The clinic gave advice on ways to hopefully be able to spay and neuter at a higher volume to help more animals. Such an awesome opportunity! Thank you again for having us 💙

Our clinic also assists with the care of the shelter animals as well when needed. Pia and Erica, and the Operations Manager, Alisha are clipping mattes off of Bootsy Boo Boo. Being heavily matted can be painful so we are fortunate to have them here to assist. He is still waiting for his FURever home. We hope he’ll find his home soon. 💙

Cone, E-collar - call it what you want.

They are very important after surgery! One of the biggest complications after surgery is an infected or open incision due to licking. A collar will keep this from happening!!

We can provide one for a minimal charge or you can purchase one from a pet store or online.

What a great dog!

PENDING ADOPTION
Spade needs a FURever family.
She’s 10 months old and medium in size at 42 pounds.
She spent the last few months living on campus at Shenandoah University as part of the Behavior Modification class project where she worked with students and a local trailer.
She even completed her Canine Good Citizens test with her adopter.
Unfortunately, she’s back due to no fault of her own.
She’s great with other dogs, and would probably benefit from having the company of another canine companion.
She’s also fine with kids and previously lived with children.
She’s spayed, vaccinated & microchipped.
Her adoption fee is $95.
