Suds and Bubbles were found wrapped in a towel at a local car wash this morning. This sweet duo is currently at AMC. Thank you AMC for reaching out and helping us help them.
Then Lil Meow and his Sister Lil Kim had to come into care and are being treated by Colony Animal Hospital staff. Thank you for helping us help them
We understand people are frustrated that rescues and shelters do not have immediate openings. We are all truly trying our best. There is a crisis in the animal field. Please be kind to volunteers, shelter staff and veterinary staff as we are all navigating the best we can. We are answering emails on lunch breaks and in the evenings, trying to field calls while working, determine where or when space may be available and carrying guilt for the ones we cannot help. We are all doing the best we can.

Today Junkyard Joe had major surgery. He had total ear ablation surgery due to significant damage. Many thanks to the Animal Medical Center and Dr. Bruce Welch. We ask for prayers for a complete recovery for this very sweet boy!! He is having some vestibular issues which can be expected with this type of surgery. Before and after photos below

We had a visit from some members of YHB-CPAs and Consultants!! Their offices did a collection for our rescue! Two of their volunteers came by, held some kitties and made the volunteers very happy with the donations!! Thank you all!

What an absolutely incredible day! The event was amazing so please be ready for lots of photos and updates!! We are so grateful and many of us cried!! The 6th Annual Bike Run raised $15,604.00. Thank you to all who volunteered time to help organize, to all who donated, the bikers who rode, and everyone who helped organize this event to help the cats!! A special thank you to Chuck Lloyd and Andrea Lloyd for always organizing and keeping us all focused!!

Meet sweet ol' Toby. A local animal control reached out for help. Toby has no teeth and is extremely under weight. He is combo tested negative and probably considered a senior boy. He could use some positive thoughts and prayers!!!

It’s Whisker Wednesday and Pippi is here looking for her furever family. This little sweety is 5.5 years old and super affectionate. She’ll jump up on your lap and become a purring machine. She recently had all but two teeth removed, so she only eats canned food until her mouth heals up. She needs slow introductions to other cats and dogs. Pippi is waiting for her special someone at the Wi******er PetSmart, 2310 Legge Boulevard.

Dakota’s Dream 14 Years!

Today is so special to our rescue! 14 years ago today we were awarded our 501c3!! We are extremely grateful for the support and kindness of the community!! We are thankful to all the volunteers and supporters who have stood with us over the years. Rescue is hard and emotional work!! Please enjoy our video of the last 14 years!

We have some amazing fosters. Gramps came to visit is today. His foster now has his diabetes under control and he is doing amazing. He missed Santa at petsmart but we know Santa will find him for Christmas because he has been the best boy ever

Wednesday was back at Valley Emergency today.....and today she started to eat...we are cautiously optimistic. She is still wobbly and has neurological symptoms but she ate. And to the gentleman that comes by Petsmart....the food she ate was Royal Canin mother baby dry food! We are so grateful for your donations!! Please keep praying.

Stunned! Amazed! Grateful! Crying! Today the 3rd Annual Terrace Club Bike Run was an incredible success! Huge thank you to Chuck Lloyd, Andrea Lloyd, Pam Stine, Pam Anderson and Megan Shelton for organizing this amazing event to help our rescue animals. This year has been so hard and this event is so appreciated by the volunteers and the animals!! They raised over $5,000 today!! The people who attended and donated were so extremely kind and generous. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!
