Well today is the day. I am officially retired from grooming. I wish I could say I was elated but honestly I’m feeling ALL THE EMOTIONS. I’m partly happy because I can finally take the time I desperately need to heal myself but on the other hand I’ve had to hold back bursting into tears because I’ve groomed for so long that it’s all I know. II’m angry because I feel like my body has failed me. I’ve been grooming in Wi******er for 13 years and built up a small business that surpassed my expectations. I’m sad because I have met and befriended some of the best people a person and business owner could ask for. I’m going to miss y’all and your babies terribly. Thank you to EVERYONE who supported me through all these years. Wether it was allowing me to groom your babies, the friendships that were created, or the help I’ve been given; I’m incredibly grateful and humbled that y’all loved and trusted me.

Good morning everyone. Hope y’all are doing well. This post may come as a surprise and disappointment to some but it is one I have been wrestling with for over a year. As most of you know I have been struggling with back issues for a while now. I have been trying my best to push through, maintain, and accommodate my body to continue to keep grooming, probably a detriment to my health. I’ve tried everything that I can to prolong me being able to continue, however, the past couple of months have been extremely hard. The fact of the matter is my back is not going to get better and I’m feeling as though it is getting worse and causing more health issues. There are days where I am in so much pain after grooming that I cannot complete tasks that need to be done at home and on the weekends. This past week was one of the worst. As much as it breaks my heart, I have made the decision to retire from grooming and close my salon on July 16. I wanted to give a notice well in advance to give everyone a chance to find another groomer. I am not sure what the future holds for me but I do need to focus on healing myself. I want to thank everyone for your loyalty and trust all these years that I have been able to groom. You have made what was a small dream into a reality and bigger than I ever expected. I love you all! If anyone needs referrals to another groomer, I’ll gladly provide you with the information.

Good morning and Happy New Year, folks! Hope everyone had a great holiday. Today we return for our first day back in 2022. We would like to remind everybody of the new changes that will begin starting today:

- ALL Groom prices, no matter the size of dog, will increase by $5. This does not include basic bath and brush outs.

- We will not be able to take any new dogs that weigh 50 lbs or greater. This is for new and existing clientele.

- Not a new policy but needs to be addressed: any appointment that is 15 minutes or more late, without calling to make arrangements if it will be ok, WILL NOT be accepted. You will have to wait until the next available opening or scheduled appointment.

Good afternoon! Just wanted to touch base with everyone and let y’all know we haven’t forgotten about scheduling for 2022. We are currently working on the book when we can during work hours as we haven’t been able to work on it after hours yet. We will get y’all in and sent a schedule.

We would also like to remind everyone that the holiday season is well upon us! We are busy, busy! We ask that in order to keep things running smoothly that everyone please show up on time for your appointment at it’s scheduled time. We will not take any appointments later than 15 minutes. If you miss an appointment we may not be able to get you back in until the beginning of the year or at your next scheduled appointment.

Good Morning!

The 2022 appointment book is in and we can start scheduling! Please contact us at the work phone to put you on the list to get you set up for 2022! Let us know how often and what days and times will work best for you. All appointments are first come first, first serve. Please keep in mind Saturday’s book up fast and our hours are Wednesday through Saturday 9am to 4pm. Last appointments will be either at 1pm or 2pm depending upon size of dog.

Changes for 2022:

‼️There will be a $5 price increase for ALL grooms.

‼️Following recommendations from her Dr. and Physical Therapist, ALL large dogs will continue to have to be the last appointment of the day.

‼️We will NOT be taking any NEW large dogs 50lbs or greater. This is for both new and existing clientele. This includes Doodles, German shepherds, Golden Retrievers, etc

Good morning everyone! We are currently waiting for our new schedule book to arrive so that we can start scheduling for 2022! Due to shipping times and availability, it has made our scheduling later than normal.

For the 2022 year there will be several changes that we would like to make everyone aware of:

- Effective Jan 1, 2022,there will be a $5 price increase on ALL grooms. We haven't raised any of our prices in 4 years and unfortunately due to the significant increases in prices we have had for utilities, products, services, and items we use; this is the only way for us to be able to keep up to our standards with out having to sacrifice quality.

- Due to continued back issues and recommendations from both Dr. and Physical Therapist: Ashley will still have to groom larger dogs at the end of the day. In order for her to preserve her back and not cause further issues we WILL NOT be taking any NEW dogs 50 lbs or heavier. This will be for both CURRENT and NEW clientele.

-We will continue the same hours as we did this past year : Wednesday-Saturday: 9am-4pm. Last appointment of the day will be 1pm for a Large dog and 2pm for smaller. We will still be taking quarterly vacations and off one Saturday a month.

-all appointments are first come, first serve. There have been several signs posted in our salon and have had a sign up book at check out to get on a list to schedule for 2022. If you have not contacted us please call or text the salon at 859-200-8798 starting Wednesday, November 10, 2021. Please let us know if there are any times, days that work best.

Good morning, everyone! Ashley here with a few updates:

• we are officially completely booked for the entirety of 2021! At this time there is NO availability for any appointments outside of nail trims( no grooms and baths are available). The cancellation list is about 9 dogs deep. Please keep this in mind if you need to cancel or if you miss an appointment. Thank you to all who have scheduled out for the year!

• We are not taking any new clientele or ANY NEW dogs from existing clientele at this time. As mentioned above, there just isn’t any availability at this time. There are no plans for expansion or hiring another groomer at this time.

•Our business hours are 9am to 4pm. We cannot take early drop offs before 9am. If there is an employee at the salon before 9am, it is because we are prepping the salon for the day.

•We recommend that all clientele to read any signage posted on the front door and next to the register as this is were a lot of policies, updates, and general information is posted.

Good morning! We just wanted to give an update for our availability for the rest of the year. Currently, we only have 8 appointments left for the rest of the year, the first availability being in May. Back in October we announced many changes to the schedule and availability for this year. It was also announced via many posts and signs in our salon that any client wanting appointments for this year was required to contact us directly to make the appointments due to the changes. Appointments were not carried over nor made without first being notified by client. If you didn’t contact us with the frequency and times that work best for you, you do not have any appointments. We are unable to squeeze or work in any appointments as all spots are taken until the next availability. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

‼️‼️Good morning and Happy New Year to all of our clientele! We will be returning tomorrow to resume business after a much needed break. With our return we would like to remind everyone of the following changes and what is staying the same.‼️‼️

💥• Last year around October we announced that our hours and availability will be changing. Our NEW business hours will be Wednesday- Saturday 9am to 4pm. These changes were posted on this business page, the staffs personal pages as well as notices on the front door, door to the grooming area and 2 by checkout.

✅- With these changes, there will NO LONGER be at 8am appointments during the week and NO early drop offs before 9am.

✅- Also, these changes mean that availability is extremely limited and clients needed to contact us directly to make a schedule for this year. We announced that we would not be making schedules unless clients contacted us with the frequency and days/times that would work best for them. If you did not contact us, you DO NOT have a schedule for this year. At this time we only have a handful of appointments left for the entire year. There is NO AVAILABILITY until March and only several throughout the rest of the year. At this time we can only offer a wait list for months that are booked solid and only what is available during the months that have some openings.

-✅We will not be taking any new clientele at this time. We appreciate the referrals so much, however, with all the changes we are unable to take on anymore and continue with the time and quality we take pride in.

What’s staying the same:

✅• We will still be following COVID-19 guidelines. We kindly ask anyone entering the salon to wear a mask and only one person in the front of the salon at a time.

Happy Christmas Eve everyone! We wanted to make a friendly reminder for the remainder of this year.

‼️ We will be CLOSED December 25- January 5 for our Christmas break. We will not be taking calls or texts during this time. We will return to normal business hours January 6 at 9am.

‼️2021 Schedule:
Since October of this year we made everyone aware of the new changes for next year. We have made several posts and have had signage in our salon( front door, door to grooming area, and next to the register) letting clients know of the changes. Due to the changes we were only making schedules for next year once clients contacted us to let us know their availability that will work with ours and that appointments are first come, first served. At this time we are only able to put clients on a wait list as there is no availability until March.

⚠️‼️Good morning everyone! With scheduling for 2021 coming up, we would like to make everyone aware of some major changes to the 2021 schedule. Due to some health and life changes of our staff the following changes will be in effect starting Jan. 1, 2021:

* 8am appointments will no longer be available. The first appointment of the day will start at 9am and the last appointment of the day will be 2pm.
* We will be cutting back our hours of operations to Wednesday- Saturday 9am-4pm. The salon will now be CLOSED Sunday- Tuesday.
* We will be cutting back the amount of dogs scheduled for each day.
* All large dogs will have to be scheduled for the last groom of the day. Due to Ashley having several degenerating discs and bone spurs in her back, this will be the only option for her to be able to groom a full day and still be able to continue grooming the current large dogs that she has.
* We will not be able to take new large dogs.
* All special grooms( Buddy/ express) will have to be the first appointment of the day.

⚠️‼️We will begin scheduling for 2021 starting on Tuesday, October 20.
• All large dogs, Saturday only appointments, and special grooms( buddy/express) will be scheduled first starting on October 20-23. All other small/ medium dog appointments will begin scheduling on October 24. Please be patient during the scheduling process. We have many clients to schedule while also performing our regular daily grooming.
* We will not be preemptively scheduling appointments out for the year like we have done years prior. All clients will need to contact us by call or text to the salon phone to let us know the days, times, and frequency in which they would like come. We will try our best to accommodate everyone’s needs based upon our availability.
* Please keep in mind that ALL appointments are first come, first served.
* We HIGHLY recommend that ALL clients make their appointments for the year. If not, we will only be able to offer what is first available.

We understand that these changes may not work best for everyone and we apologize. Unfortunately, due to changes with school schedules and the health and well-being of our staff, these changes are necessary for us to still be able to continue grooming while tending to our everyday life outside of work. Thank you all for your support and understanding. We truly have the best clients.

- any missed/canceled appointments will have to
wait until the next scheduled appointment or be
put on our cancellation list. Please be aware
that being on the cancellation list will not
guarantee an opening will become available.
-We are unable to take any new clientele or new
dogs from existing clientele at this time. We will
evaluate if and when we will take new clientele
once we get our existing clientele scheduled. If
we are able to start taking new clients it will be
small/ medium dogs. Unfortunately, due to
health issues, we will not be able to take any
new large breed dogs(65lbs or greater). This
includes any Doodle variation, huskies, German
Shepherds, Golden retrievers, etc.

• We will begin scheduling 2021 appointments for existing clientele starting October 20. Next year we will be scaling back the days we will work and how many dogs a day we will be taking. NO MONDAY APPOINTMENTS AND HALF DAYS ON TUESDAYS. We will still be taking a Saturday off each month and vacation quarterly. The way we will schedule will be a bit different this year. We will be taking appointments for our existing large breed dogs and Saturday appointments first. Please note that all large breed dogs will have to be scheduled for later in the day to accommodate the proper time needed for that groom. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE SCHEDULE FOR THE YEAR as all appointments are first come first serve and limited availability on certain days. Appointments for 2021 will be available starting Tuesday, January 5. If you know the frequency in which you would like to have your dog groomed, call or text us to let us know. PLEASE DO NOT comment on this post or on this page as we may not see it.
