As many of you may have noticed yesterday, our internet service has been spotty at best. We have had the technicians monitoring it and they are hopefully sending someone asap. With that being said, our phones are internet based so unless the internet comes back we don't have phones either.. We do use an app so we can receive a text, or a Facebook message, or an email. When they are up and running we only have a short time until they have been crashing again, so phone calls may get disconnected. Please have patience with us as we try to get thru this. We will post an update when they are up and running again!

We are a fast paced, 2 Doctor Veterinary Clinic in Wooster, OH. Assistant should be comfortable around dogs and cats primarily and occasionally horses.

Our clinic hours are Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm, and Saturdays 9am to 11:30am. 1-2 Saturdays per month required.

Our team and clients know each other well and communicate together to provide excellent care for our patients. We focus on friendly service, honesty, client education for disease prevention, and high-quality laboratory, medical, and surgical services. For the safety of both our staff and clients, we will be closed tomorrow morning 2/3/22. At this time, we are planning on opening at noon on 2/3/22. However if weather conditions are severe, we will close until Friday.

In the event of closure, all existing appointments will be contacted and rescheduled. Our clinic is without power (no phones, credit card machines, diagnostic machines, lights, etc). We are making due as much as possible. But we have very limited capabilities at this time. As of April 1st, 2021 Our office will start allowing One Healthy, Masked, Adult Pet Owner to accompany their pet(s) to their scheduled appointment. We will still be offering curbside to those who would rather remain in their vehicle for the visit. Please continue to call to check in (or come to the walk up window), once an exam room is available we will come get you and/or the pet(s) for the visit.

We ask you still call ahead for medication refills so it is available with less waiting time. The waiting area will remain closed. The pickup window on the south end of the building will still be preferred for pickups/payments, however the desk will be open (again, one healthy masked owner and please follow social distancing guidelines). We still have our online store for purchases also.

As always, if you are not feeling well, we kindly ask you have someone else bring the pet(s), please make sure you are available to answer any questions we may have at the visit or reschedule until feeling well.

Our office is still open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, and Limited Saturdays 9am-11:30am By Appointment. Our OPEN Saturdays will be April 10 & 17, May 1 & 15

To our amazing loyal clients,

We will be closing on Saturday December 19th until Monday December 28th. Our office is severely short staffed due to Covid 19. We need some time for our staff to isolate and tend to their health before we can continue to serve our wonderful patients and clients.

We will be open from 2-4pm for limited medication window pick up only. If you are in need of a refill please leave a message with your name, pet’s name, medication to be refilled and a number where you can be reached. It will take 24 hours or a full business day to process these requests. Please be patient with us!

We know that our closing may pose some complications to you and your pets. If you have an appointment already scheduled, we will be contacting you to reschedule. We apologize but routine wellness appointments may be delayed in an attempt to prioritize our ill patients when we return. If you need medication or food refills, we recommend using our online store at the link below. We will continue to check for new orders regularly to try and prevent any delays.

Unfortunately, we also will not be available for emergency services but MedVet in Copley is recommended for emergency care.

Here are some important open/closed dates for the upcoming holidays! Remember, with the holidays coming up, it’s a good idea to be on top of medication and prescription food refills!

Wednesday December 9th, we are closing early at 3pm.

Merry Christmas!!!
We will be closed from December 24th-27th. We will have normal business hours on December 23rd and 28th.

Happy New Year!!!
We will be closed from 12pm on December 31st-Jan 3rd. We will be open from 9am-12 pm New Year’s Eve. Then open normal hours on January 4th.

As of right now, we will only be open on select Saturdays from 9 am-11:30 pm. Some upcoming Saturday appointment dates are December 12th, January 9th and January 23rd. If we add more, we will let you know!

Also, we are continuing with curbside services at this time. With the winter weather coming, we ask you all for patience and understanding. We are all just doing our best to keep our clients, staff and families healthy this year.

We need your help!!

We are booking out about 6 weeks for surgeries. And I absolutely know conflicts and schedule changes come up. However, we need at least 24 hours notice to fill a surgery cancellation due to the need to fast the pet before anesthesia. We are trying to get everyone in as soon as possible but when we have same day surgery cancellations or no-shows. We cannot fill that surgery appointment. We do have a $20 same day cancellation fee for surgery if the surgery appointment is not cancelled by 9am the day before. However, we would much rather fill those spots with our eagerly waiting patients!

So, if any of you cannot make your appointments or if you have a conflict arise, please let us know ASAP. We will do our best to find another spot for you and work to get that spot filled as soon as possible!

We have hit the ground running! We are doing our best to get everyone in as quickly as we can. Our schedule has filled up very quickly. If you can’t make your appointment, PLEASE call us to cancel so that we can fit in another patient.

We have attempted to contact everyone on our surgical waitlist. If you are expecting a call and haven’t gotten one, I recommend you call the clinic to get on the schedule ASAP.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and help with our scheduling and curbside service. We do have some “at risk” staff and appreciate your help in keeping our staff and your families healthy!

Yay!! We have been given the ok to proceed with routine procedures and surgeries as usual after May 1st. We have started calling our surgical wait list. We will do our best to get everyone on the schedule as soon as possible.

However, due to the continued social distancing recommendations, we are continuing curbside service through May. As our regular clients know, our lobby is not large and can get very full during the day. So curbside service is the best way for us to keep our staff and your families healthy. We are also continuing to use the pick-up window as well as our online store.

To all of our loyal and amazing clients,

We hope you are all staying safe and healthy! This pandemic has affected us all. Hopefully things will slowly start to re-open and return to normal but, there is no doubt that the process will be slow.

We are trying to stay up to date with the governor’s recommendations and we will adjust our policies accordingly. The OVMA has formally requested that elective procedures be allowed to resume. As soon as we are permitted, we will start scheduling our list of elective surgeries. We have a plan in place to get everyone on the schedule in an efficient and timely manner.

It has been conveyed by the governor that even as restrictions are lifted the social distancing recommendations will remain in effect for some time. Therefore, we will be continuing curbside service through May. At the end of May, we will re-evaluate the situation and adjust as necessary.

We ask for your amazing patience and continued cooperation. All of this is in an effort for us to keep our staff healthy so that we can continue to serve you and your pets that need us.

We know there is a lot of speculation and worry surrounding the latest news about Covid 19 infecting big cats in New York. Here is the response released by the AVMA with actual science based information regarding the risk and spread. As well as the most up to date information on confirmed, possible or suspected animal cases.

At this time, there is no need to panic for our four legged friends. The risk remains with human to human contact. But caution surrounding human exposure is encouraged and outlined in the attached article.
