Every Dog Matters Rescue We are a small group of volunteers with the same passion. We want to help the under dogs, the dogs that are over looked.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, in the Youngstown, OH area Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home unwanted dogs by creating better lives for them through rescue, foster, training and adpotion The ones that need extra time and training, the ones that need to learn to trust again. We will help any dog that we are able to but our focus will be on the ones that need the extra ti

Meet Leia!

Named in honor of May 4th (Star Wars Day). She was found dehydrated and emaciated, but is now in a loving foster home until we can find her forever family. Leia is about 20 pounds and it looks like she'll be staying around that size. Leia thrives in a quiet, patient, and well structured home. She needs someone to support her and show her that new things are not scary. We would recommend no children in the home, due to the fact that she finds loud noises to be scary and she'll retreat out of fear. Leia is dog friendly! She would most likely do best with another calm and confident dog. She is the last of her litter to find a home.

Dusty is short, stout, and snorty — the full package of cuteness! She loves to play, snuggle on the couch, and go for car rides (windows down, of course!).

She’d do best as the only pet in the home, but she’s got enough love and personality to fill the whole house. ❤️

Darcy is playful, silly, and full of personality. She LOVES her toys — super chewers, this girl’s your match! When playtime’s over, she’s all about lounging and relaxing.

Darcy would do best as the only pet in the home, but she’s wonderful with kids and can’t wait to find her family!

What an incredible evening! We had such a wonderful time surrounded by great music, amazing friends, and so much love — all in support of our mission to save as many dogs as possible. 💕

Jamison is the perfect mix of adventure and chill — he loves going for walks (he’s great on a leash!) and then curling up for a cozy night in. 🌅🐶
