The IEYTC was founded in 2014 and is affiliated with the Colorful Yorkshire Terrier Club in Europe and is accepted world-wide. Thus the Pedigree Association for Canine Elites (PACE) was establish. PACE & IEYTC offer a professional pedigree certification of canine ancestry, service to all those who are dedicated, who work together to promote, develop and protect healthy, pure and strong bloodlines of Canine Breeds National & Internationally. ABOUT THE REGISTRAR...

As the recognition and popularity of various exotic colours rose amongst various breeds as well as the understanding of the genetics involved The Registrar, Eldreda F Ferreira known as
Elle, realized the need for an affordable means to register these canines as well as a source of assistance in the understanding & education of the genetics involved. Elle proceeded to research & study under various International Geneticist to further her knowledge. She then established a registry which grew and expanded as well as offered assistance from general health & breeding, to basic colour genetic information. Elle excelled in her field as a Yorkshire Terrier Breeder and through her knowledge was the FIRST to produce a Solid Dark Chocolate Yorkshire Terrier and the First Pure White Yorkshire Terrier, she took a step even further by being the FIRST to breed a Faultless Pure White Yorkshire Terrier with Blue Eyes, as well as the FIRST IRISH SADDLED (SPOTTED) BIRO with BLUE EYES, all without the presence of the merle mutation. By importing various rare & exotic genes, carefully & selectively adding them to her breeding program, it led to the breeding of exquisite Biro, Biewers, Merles and other variants to enter the South-Africa Yorkshire Terrier population, also creating a wider gene pool. Through her extensive research she imported top quality champions of excellent lineage at high prices, but as her priority was the improvement and development of the breed, to accommodate the South-African market, she made these lineages available at affordable prices, as well as offering regular assistance & information. Canines bred by Elle was also the FIRST to make Television appearance in a program dedicated
to awareness of various Yorkshire Terrier Colours. The FIRST registry run by a registrar experienced and well-versed in Canine Colour Genetics always willing and prepared to assist in breeding and various other queries.

4. The FIRST Registry to offer the professional data capturing service and accurate lineage corrections by use of an international program introduced into South-Africa by The Registrar, Elle Fernandes Ferreira, from abroad.

The FIRST to offer a fully professional pedigree certificate stating detailed ancestral information including the clear indication of champion and title holders through highlighting (in red),indicating canines/felines imported to RSA highlighted (in blue), as well as indicating canines/felines imported to other countries (highlighted in purple).

6. The FIRST to implement a registration distinction classified as 'Variety' in the registering of various breeds. The FIRST to clearly indicate 'COI' as well as canine 'Group' on pedigree certificates.

8. The FIRST registry to offer even further comprehensive pedigrees stating details such as eye & nose colours. (applicable breeds)

9. The FIRST registry catering for Notes & Special Notes (highlighted in orange) on the pedigree Certificate.(when applicable)

10. The FIRST registry to implement a Breeding Restriction (highlighted in orange) on all puppies/felines registered that can only be lifted by consent from the original breeder through the transfer/change of ownership (certificate back) form

11. Pedigree Certificates cater space for a personalized photo of Animal, photo can be digitally added by Registrar if submitted with application or be added manually by Breeder and also updated by the new owner.

12. The FIRST to issue a 5-generation pedigree certificate as a standard issue and 6-generations where possible. When only 4-generation information is available, the registrar will attempt to locate further details, if not available a standard 4-generation pedigree will be issued. (number of generations include the puppy's generation that the pedigree belongs to)

The IEYTC (INTERNATIONAL EXOTIC YORKSHIRE TERRIER CLUB) was founded in 2014. In the same year IEYTC achieved AFFILIATION with the Colorful Yorkshire Terrier Club in EUROPE. After this achievement IEYTC further received acceptance to various other registries world-wide. In 2016 IEYTC broaden its horizon after numerous enquiries from breeders of various other breeds Thus the PEDIGREE ASSOCIATION FOR CANINE ELITES (PACE) was established. Soon after adding other canine breeds and combining of PACE/IEYTC, yet another expansion took place, as ALL Felines were then added. PACE/IEYTC then become known as PEDIGREE ASSOCIATION FOR CANINE/CAT ELITES & INTERNATIONAL EXOTIC YORKSHIRE TERRIER CLUB (PACE/IEYTC). PACE/IEYTC offer a professional pedigree certification of canine/feline ancestry service to all those who are dedicated, who work together to promote, develop and protect healthy, pure and strong bloodlines of Canine/Feline Breeds, National & Internationally.
