Appaloosa Sport Horses We have also bred our Appaloosas to Warm bloods and Thoroughbreds to increase their height and potential athletic ability.

At Kaloosa Stud we aim to produce versatile, athletic horses that can compete in any discipline, such as showing, dressage, show-jumping, eventing, endurance, or simply be friendly, intelligent, family hacks. Our primary focus is on temperament, and of course the added bonus of beautiful Appaloosa colour.

General information

Our current Stallion is Alpha Wap's Quovadis out of Alpha Tobys Frontierland, by Waps Pyjamas (USA). Alpha Waps Quovadis is a stunning appendix B apaloosa. He is a near chestnut leopard who stands at 16.1hh. He has good strong legs and a broad chest. His incredibly calm and friendly temperament is passed on to his offspring. At Kaloosa Stud all initial training is done using natural horsemanship methods. We do not introduce the horse to a bit until he/she is going well, and listening to aids using just a halter. They are then taught basic schooling and jumping. The horses are taught at their own pace. and nothing is forced apon them. These horses enjoy human company and enjoy their work.
