Marshall/Scribe Positions ✍️
We are looking for some fantastic people, who are not running dogs to fill the scribes/marshall positions, which are the paid positions of $200. Don’t worry if you don’t have experience, we will provide some training and you will work with others who have some knowledge. A knowledge of basic agility will help though. It really is the best place to get a ring side seat and fantastic for those new to agility who would like to learn how competitions work.
Bar Setters 👍
No experience necessary for this position. Teenagers are definitely welcome, please no small children due to our fast excitable dogs.
Ring Checkers 🏁
We require people who have a previous knowledge of scoring/scribing methods in agility, those who want to help but are still running a dog, this would suit you.
Equipment Haulers 🛻
We need a person with a car with a towbar to help move the equipment from our container to the main arena. Approximate time – 2pm Thursday, 26th September.
Truck/trailer unpackers 📦
We will need numerous volunteers to help pack the equipment onto trailers at the container on the AELEC grounds and unpack the truck and trailers at the main arena. Approximate time for this is 2pm Thursday, 26th September.
Please be aware that it is generally expected that every ADAA competitor who attends needs to assist with trailer/truck unpacking, equipment set up, course set up, packing up and the general running of the day.
Please contact us at [email protected]. if you can help with any of the above roles.
