It's not just all about scales!

Invertebrates are also part of the Real Scales family too.

How cool are these giant millipedes?

These guys live for between 2 to 5 years and grow up to 20cm in length.

Cunningham skinks like to live in large social colonies and can be found along both western and eastern sides of the Great Dividing Range from south-east Queensland down through New South Wales into central Victoria and around the Bendigo region.

Cunningham's are highly monogamous with most males fathering only one litter.

Dispite remaining within the same range and not often dispersing, genetic studies have shown that Cunningham Skinks can identify close relatives and always choose unrelated partners. Litter size ranges from 1-11 young.

This is my pair of Cunningham's, both captive bred rescue/re-homes and both have very distinct and different personalities!

Welcome to the team "Paddles" the Salt Water Crocodile.

Paddles will begin to make appearances at shows and displays early next year.

For now, Paddles is settling into his new home 🐊💚

The scale team and I will be at the Harcourt Pony Club community open day Sunday November 6th from 11am-2pm.
Come along and enjoy a BBQ, pony rides, face painting and more.

Gold coin donation entry.

All funds raised on the day go towards building a new round round yard for beginner riders.
