Golden Acres Mini Goats

Based between the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane, we own and breed a small herd of Australian Miniatures and Nigerian Dwarf Goats.

We have some amazing updates to share here at Golden Acres.
Delilah our polled 85% Nigerian Dwarf goat gave birth to a beautiful boy last Saturday. (This boy is already spoken for from my waitlist)
We did have to put Golden Acres on pause for the past year, while I had my own baby who is 7 weeks today 🥳
In that time we also dealt with some medical treatments to do with worm resistances and injuries both retained from our neighbouring goats.
We had to do a shake up of our residents, deciding to keep only who were the superior genetics of the herd.
We now only have Delilah, Esmay and Anvil.
Esmays is due any day with her babies, fingers crossed for multiples and at least one girl 🤞

The Nigerian Dwarfs are an especially friendly and easy to handle breed. Because of their size and nature they make fantastic pets and can even make great service animals. Shade (one of last year's wethers) participated as a therapy animal at the early age of 8 weeks. He visited aged care homes bringing cuddles and love to all 🦮🐐🌺

Athena , Amber's Doe. Shows just how much trust she puts in us, that a human is her safe place to sleep. We love our goats and make such a connection with each and every one of them 🐐❤️

The perks of having baby goats on the property. They get to hangout with us while we watch TV at night. Shadows baby is so funny to watch 🐐🤣🌾

We had our very first goat birth on the farm a day ago. Shadow delivered a healthy pure black boy. Both are doing wonderfully 🎉🐐
This boy will be ready to meet his new family as a wether in 10 weeks

Beautiful baby Delilah joined our herd over our holiday break from mojo mini goats. She, Esmay and Shadow have very much become the three musketeers 🎄🦌
