Beautiful resin bee recycling propolis from Stingless native bees.
Confused bees...
They got in... out... and in again! 🤔
A small video of the ants having lunch.
Sorry I didn't mentioned, this is in Malaysia.
I love their white and yellow pants. After the rain, the flowers are loaded with pollen and the bees are bringing it home. Love the 🐝🐝🐝
My girls this morning returning loaded with yellow pollen. Love it...
The dark bee fanning the hive must have drifted from the hive next to it as these are Italians.
I have an attaching swarm on my TC hive.
I moved the original hive about 1.50 m away and placed a trap hive on the original location.
They look interested enough on the trap hive but I can see a few still interested on the original hive. Should I move the original hive away or just keep an eye on it for now?
Thanks.
I found this one on Sunday in a Mango tree, this girls are strong and healthy.
In Beekeeping, things don't always go well. My TC native beehive was overtaken by Syrphid fly and small hive beetles in a couple of weeks. You wouldn't believe it!
This video shows how many larvae were in the stores...
My bees are rocking... Or washboarding, what doesn't sound so good!
Orientation flights - many times confused with robbing by new beekeepers, orientation flights happen on the beginning of the afternoon. Hundreds of house bees fly facing the hive to take notice of the surroundings as preparation to become foragers. This behaviour only lasts for minutes while robbing can go for days and is usually associated with fighting and dead bees in front of the hive.
A slo-mo showing some of the action. You can see the field bees returning loaded with pollen.
