We have a large house with private bedrooms and shared bathrooms for students. The bedrooms are spacious, carpeted and have large windows with garden views. Each bedroom contains a single bed, desk, chair, study lamp, mirror, chest of drawers and built-in wardrobes. There is wireless internet available at no extra cost for students who bring their laptop. There is also a television available for t
he students to use. Ann does the washing of clothes and bed linen for students at no extra cost. The house is a 2 minute walk to the bus stop and a 15 minute walk to local shopping centres (with grocery stores, pharmacies and public library etc). One of Brisbane's largest shopping centres, Indooroopilly (cinemas, public library, hundreds of retail stores) is a 20 minute trip by bus, and the city centre (main shopping mall) is a 45 minute bus trip from home. Our family enjoys reading, playing with our small dog, George (who is a Tenterfield Terrier) and watching Rugby League and Australian Rules football. Ann is a good cook and likes to spend time in her garden. Elspeth works as a Finance Officer at a university and enjoys baking cakes and sweets. One of Hugh and Ann’s other daughters, Joh, lives nearby with her husband Bill and the two of them visit often.
