How filming the agony of Aberfan for The Crown revealed a village still in trauma
So I’ve just watched this episode of The Crown. It brought back sad memories of as a young girl when my Dad, (a die hard Labor man) Les Fleming on a Sunday morning listened in detail to the recount of 116 children dying in this tragedy. A mountain slide.
It was pivotel to me in my support to human and human rights. The Queen and the crown changed their focus because of this day.
