Magpies swoop in spring
Peak breeding season for Australian magpies is August through to November, which is normally when the swooping begins. During this time, they will defend their nests and chicks, but also defend their surrounding territory

How to stop magpies swooping you?
Wear a broad-brimmed hat and sunglasses or shelter under an umbrella to protect your face from swooping magpies (painting or sticking large 'eyes' on the back

Weirdly, magpies are less likely to swoop if you look at them, so lock eyes with them and stare them down until you're out of sight.

🔴Feline vaccine update 🐈‍⬛🐈🔴
Unfortunately there is a shortage of vaccines again which is so incredibly frustrating! We have none till june 28th .Keeping cats indoors lowers the risk of disease considerably. If your cat is due for vaccination boosters you will have received a email advising of the world wide shortage. Although not ideal, if they have had regular vaccines they will still carry some protection against serious disease. Stay tuned!
