It's Toby's birthday 🥳
He turns 9 years old today.

Toby update 👁
Almost every week, we would have people ask about Toby's eye. He had pigmentation covering his sclera. Naturally, Toby's clients were very worried.
So for those who were concerned, he finally went to an eye specialist, who unfortunately recommended to remove his eyeball!
We did. It was melanoma 😭
It has been a couple of weeks and he has recovered incrediby well. Still being the most handsome and always sassy feline.

It is with heavy hearts that we share this news with you. Dr Yuri Sos has sadly passed away after a long battle with cancer. He has been looking after the animals of Sunshine and surrounds for over 40 years.

He will be remembered for his love for life, travel, trains & animals, his great sense of humour, his ability to share a funny story or entertain with a joke with all his clients and friends.

Funeral details will be shared below. Please also feel free to share your favourite memory of Dr Sos in the comments.

The first photo was taken when she was just a puppy, and the second only a few days ago. There’s 8 years difference between these pictures, and while she may be looking a little bit greyer now, she’s just as crazy as ever! But that’s what you sign up for when you get a working dog!
There’s absolutely no slowing down yet for this middle-aged, ball-obsessed pooch, and we wouldn’t have her any other way

At 4yrs old, she is on her way to becoming a pro soccer superstar matching her mum, who has also won a couple of medals. Most weeks she'll head to the pitch and show everyone her tricks!

We want to take the time to let you all know our beloved Checkers has sadly passed away.

She will be forever missed by us, many clients and the lovely people at the op shop next door, her favourite place to be.

The way she would run to you in the carpark and say her hello while you gave her pats and cuddles will be very missed.

This is our family dog Snowball on the farm where he spent the first 9 weeks of his life to now 18 months where he lives out his urban dog park life in his Ardeer Town House.

His passions are eating socks, being cute and pinning people down and kissing them when they are upset untill they laugh.
He loves visiting Sunshine Vets because they have unlimited supply of liver treats.

We are open for business until Thursday December 23rd 9am - 7pm and then we will be closed for a much needed break over the Christmas period. We will reopen again on Tuesday January 4th.

Although we’re still only looking at your eyes and not your smiles (thanks covid🤦🏼‍♀️) we’re happy to be back at work seeing you and your pets for the new year.
