Harley is so teeny and cute but he has not only the heart of a lion but the stubbornness too lol. We however are also stubborn and don’t give up on our beloved dogs!
Today was so hard walking that bush track it was a beautiful sunny Saturday and people, dogs and children were welcome distractions and Harley fid so well! 🙌

Meet the newest team member Billie! ❤️🐾
Billie is the sweetest nature but when her mum walks her and she sees a rabbit, person or dog she has almost pulled her mum off her feet!
Her obedience was above par with all the training she has done and today we were able to spend more time on that walk. Even when the local postie stopped on his bike to pat her she didn’t pull or jump! 🙌

My goodness what a difference from the first time I walked in to see a very stressed young lady. Today although happy to see me she was relaxed and happy and that is why we train. When we step up and display kind consistent leadership, our dogs can relax as they know they don’t have to protect you.

I was so impressed when i walked in today and he did not bark at me! This is excellent progress for Donnie who was very scared of me the first time i came! 🙌
We taught him heeling and recall to name and he thoroughly enjoyed himself! We also went for a walk past the local Fish n Chip shop to tweak his walking there. He did very well, but Aunty Mandy didn’t blame him lol, it smelled delicious and tasted delicious when i went there after the lesson! 😉

Pixies catch up lesson! ❤️🐾Pixie has had a birthday since we last saw her Happy Birthday to our one year old. 💓🎈She has also hit her teenage years abd is running with it. From approximately 10 months to 20 months of age think of your dog like a 10 year old and 20 year old and then remember how many boundaries you pushed lol. It’s when they test us the most and will push back at things you believe are well established.Today after always loving to see me she did test to see whether our relationship was a house of bricks or straw that she could huff and puff down. Pearl is our senior at 12 years of age we are obviously being super sensitive to her needs. However her barking does beed to be addressed do the neighbours don’t complain and she doesn’t teach Millie to do it!
Millie is still quite young and has all the behaviours that are normal but need to be changed. Jumping, pulling on lead, harassing poor Pearl and ahe is starting to bark!
Everyone did so well today and it was a very successful outcome. I can’t wait till our next visit as i know that Ann and Lyn are super keen to be doing the homework multiple times a day!

Yahto, Charlie and Campo graduated to collar obedience today! ❤️🐾
I am so proud of these guys, before we started training Larissa sent me some video footage of them jumping on the couch barking at visitors and mail people and they did not stop! Campo was very scared of me, Charlie whilst little was clearly the boss of everyone and Yahto although the loudest barker of all took the training immediately, like a duck to water!
It’s hard to train 3 dogs at once while you work full time but the results are worth it!

We added harder distractions to his drop today and he even held his stay with his fur brother Freddy running around 👌
We put both dogs on the same good manners boundaries. So both politely wait for permission to get on the couch and no jumping. These are the qualities that make a great family dog! 🙌
