Limited appointments still available for July, heading into the cooler months it’s important to still get your dog groomed, for those who get their dog clipped short we can leave them longer/fluffy for winter or a small tidy up (feet,face,sanitary) between grooms to maintain coat condition.

Winter is here, it it’s important to maintain a regular grooming schedule during the colder months.
We offer longer clips and tidy ups to keep your pooches coat maintained, daily brushing is required at home to keep your pups coat mat free in between grooms and to avoid matting

Why grooming regularly is so important
One of our main steps in the de-shedding process is a good bath, we are using our de-shedding nozzle to push out a lot of undercoat

During the colder months it is important to maintain a regular grooming schedule to prevent matting or very thick coats 🐾🐾

We had the pleasure of grooming these gorgeous pups this week, Teddy and Seamus did so well for the very first groom, Look foward to seeing you again soon.
Puppy’s should be brought in to the groomers between 3 to 4 months of age to get used to the grooming process.

Our Story

Nails to Tails Dog Grooming is a home base dog grooming service, run by two very capable young Carramar locals. We are twin sisters Rachael and Kayla and have been working within the grooming industry for many years. We have been taught by the talented Georgie Grimmett, (now retired) former owner/operator of Pooches Grooming Parlour, Kingsley, who also taught and worked alongside Snook n’ Bones Grooming, Craigie. More recently we have been assisting Stella at the very popular Serenity Dog Spa, Wanneroo and loving every minute of it.

We started by helping out at the family’s grooming business at a very young age, then as we got older we officially worked there during school holidays and moved around to other grooming salons. The idea of doing what we love and turning it into our own business slowly came into a reality after we graduated high school and were able to establish our very own small business.

Our hydrobath is set up with temperature controlled water, so it is never too hot or too cold. We use quality shampoo and products on your pet so they will always leave us looking and smelling great. All our clients gets pampered and even the nervous one settle down to enjoy their groom.

When we’re not pampering pooches, we volunteer our time at the local Riding for the Disabled centre, where we help children and adults of all ability levels enjoy the delight of horse riding. This also means we are regularly grooming horses too, so if you think your dog might be a handful, keep in mind that we handle and groom all size horses from ponies to Clydesdales!
