Situated approximately 20km south of Perth City, Danzalin Boarding Kennels and Cattery are equipped with air-conditioning, roof cooling and secure runs for each dog. All dogs interact only through safe fencing and never in the same run when exercising, for peace of mind. Under new management as of February 2022, Danzalin has undergone a makeover to improve quality for all breeds of dogs and their
safety. We also have a vet nurse on sight nearly every day to make sure all dogs welfare, physically and mentally, are A-OK! You won't be disappointed. We are also proud supporters of:

We do keep strict business hours as constant visitors upset the dogs. Some exceptions can be made by negotiation and subject to availability.

Today was a bitter sweet moment for the team at Danzalin!
Sweet boy Onyx went home 😭 which is actually fabulous, but we’re sad to see him go and will miss his daily cuddles.
We have been looking after onyx for about 8 months while his amazing mum was seeking a pet friendly rental!
Good luck on your new adventure Onyx, don’t be a stranger!

Just a reminder to all clients to please make sure your dog and/or cats are up to date with their vaccinations. Tis the season for kennel cough sadly, so to prevent any long lasting symptoms, vaccines are vital!

Star, the beautiful greyhound, is very happy to show off her digging abilities.
If you have a dog who loves to dig and you’re worried about ruining our lush lawn, don’t you worry!
We have a select few dog runs we specifically use for dogs who love to dig. Fake grass for their toilet, and lots of sand for their fun!

❗️😷 Our local vets have seen a recent spike of Kennel Cough infection over the last week!
🦠 Kennel cough is the common name given to infectious bronchitis in dogs. It causes a dry hacking or goose-honking non-productive cough, and sometimes retching, increased temperature, and a reduction in appetite.
❤️🩹 Similar to the human flu, it is usually a self-limiting virus that doesn't require any antibiotic treatment.
💉 Making sure your dog into to date with its KC booster vaccine is the best way to help stop the spread. While we're constantly cleaning and disinfecting, Similar to the COVID vaccination, it doesn't stop your dog from getting kennel cough, but helps them to fight the virus and get better sooner!
💜 Please call your local vet practice and make sure your dog is up to date with its KC booster before brining them along to boarding.

Saving the best till last- Meet the team edition!
Our secret weapon, Ashleigh!
She brings together her handling experience and love for animals to create the perfect storm.
From day one, Ash has been an integral part in making Danzalin, what it is today, the best kennel and cattery in Perth!
She has helped us improve all aspects of our business becoming not only a valued employee but our friend as well.
Ash spends almost all of her free time volunteering as the chairperson of Staffy and Bully Breed Rescue Inc. (SABBR).
If you aren’t aware, SABBR, is a non for profit, volunteer run, dog rescue here in Perth. They focus on the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of staffies, bullies and mixed breeds alike, that are less fortunate than most.
If you would like to bring in any donations in with your pooches, the rescue would be greatly appreciated. Same goes if you’re looking to add a new dog to your family, Ash is your gal to speak to 🙂
Ash shows this love and attention to all kennel dogs and cats. It’s also a big ✔️ for us that she’s a qualified vet nurse.
We cannot speak highly enough of Ash. She is another member of our big happy family and loves welcome in your beloved pets to place!

Shi is a beautiful Mastiff blend of 4 years and her ideal foster home will have older children (10 years+) and she could live with a chilled, older canine sibbling 🐶. She hasn’t been tested with cats as yet 🐱.

It may be wet and raining here, but don’t worry. We’ve made sure all the dogs and cats have comfy bedding and lots of blankets. Their all getting a towel dry before breakfast too 🙂

Everyone’s excited for a public holiday here at the kennels, especially Boof! It’s a wonderful day for spoiling the pooches and enjoying being together without forgetting what the meaning of today is! Lest we forget 🌷
Well that's another School holiday boarding period done and dusted plus Easter. We had the most spectacular weather , fabulous dogs and way too much fun had . As always Thankyou to our awesome clients .. Moving forward we encourage you to be organised for the July holidays. It's peak season overseas so always busy especially as our kennels are set up for winter so the dogs stay dry and warm! We also recommend you get your Christmas bookings organised. Places fill up quick!
We hope you all had a wonderful Easter break. Little Luna was just as excited to be hanging out with us, as we were, hanging with all your babies! Photos to follow of course.
Rough Collies, Glam and Ceya, giving us our favourite wake up call! These girls are regular clients, who will always tell us when they would like some cuddles! Did you know: The rough collie breed is known to learn the individual characteristics and behaviors of each person in the household. They are fabulous family pets!

Today’s shaping up to be a hot one. Don’t worry though, the aircons are blasting, sprinklers are turned on on the roof of the kennel and the dogs are getting a well deserved cool down.
