Saturday - The sun is out and beaming this morning in the SIEC Ring 2 for our 23a/b 1.10m superphase classes. In the Chic Management Adult section A, Clem Smith and Where’s Cameron were the overall winners with a classy clear round in a time of 83.11 seconds. In the Baldwin Family Junior section B, the win was earned by Savannah Steel and Yirrkala Smokey with another super clear round in a time of 78.73 seconds. Congratulations to our winners, placegetters and all connections of these classes and best of luck to our competitors in classes still to come.

Each camp is $150 for the day, $50 deposit with booking. Balance either pay cash or card on the day. 9am drop off and 3pm pick up. They will need to bring morning tea, lunch, water, a hat and wear sunscreen, long pants and closed in shoes. We have riding boots and helmets to borrow for the day.

Did you know — the Queensland Off-The-Track (QOTT) offers a subsidised Lessons Program? 🏇🏇🏇

It is an initiative to support retired Standardbred and Thoroughbred horses as they transition from the racing industry into the domestic horse community. The Program enables new owners of retired Standardbred and Thoroughbred horses to receive tailored support across a range of areas including feeding and nutrition, general care, groundwork, behaviour and ridden components. The Program operates through a voucher system, with approved Participants issued vouchers to subsidise the cost of lessons. Approved Participants are eligible for individual lessons of up to 45 minutes in duration with a QOTT Approved Coach.

WE ARE HIRING….Belle Phlynn Park/Glasshouse Mountains Riding School.
We have a casual stablehand position available. 20-30hrs per wk. Can be a live in position.
Beerwah, Sunshine Coast.
Duties include but not limited to:
Stable Management, feeding and caring for all horses, rugging, preparing riding school horses for lessons, general
Farm work, riding available depending on experience.
Experience preferred, but not essential, must have good attitude, attention to detail, good time management not be afraid of working hard. A passion for horses is a must!
