Thursday 9pm – Order creation
It’s an OPT OUT SYSTEM so if you don’t want an order for the coming week, you must suspend prior to Thursday 9pm. Your “WISH LIST VOTE” and any changes you wish to make to your household size must also be done by Thursday 9pm. Friday - Starting Order Published
Login take up to 3 things out and JOIN SPLITS. Sunday 9pm - CUTOFF
Orders closed. Cards charged. There are 2 automatic processing’s, if those both decline - a $5 recharge fee is applied as it pays for someone to manually reprocess. You must pay BEFORE pick-up. Tuesday - PICK UP. You must pick up day of delivery at the pick-up time or arrange with Hubster. PAYMENTS
You must pay for your order once committed to an order cycle. It's OPT OUT. So if you don't want an order, you’ll need to suspend before orders are created. Once in an Order Cycle we cannot withdraw an order. It is your responsibility to suspend the correct weeks. If your payment declines twice there is a $5 recharge fee applied to the third attempt. Golden Beetroot $2.88 a kilo from local grower Steve Grima. Sweeter than normal beetroot and great in salads, roasted and in stir-fry. It is half price compared with Coles regular loose $6.50kg as Golden Beetroot is usually more expensive. How can they charge $6.50?

Golden Beetroot are sweeter than regular purple beetroot and great in soup, salads, roasted, then you can shave, shred, julienne, or spiralize them. How versatile is that? Feta and goats cheese go great with them.

For 2 weeks only, Shepherds is bringing back their Halloween Pumpkin Cob. This 400g cob is fun to eat as is, but even better fun when hollowed out and filled with a pumpkin dip.
It’s available this week only for just $5.90 (reduced from $6.30).
Ingredients: White flour, oil, salt, water, yeast, gluten, milk powder, sugar, cooked pumpkin, basil.

Red Oak Lettuce and Heirloom Tomatoes - a full-flavoured accompaniment to our barbie tonight and a great source of vitamins C, A, and K as well as magnesium, manganese, folate, lycopene and more! Delicious tossed with some extra-virgin olive oil and red or white wine vinegar.

How beautiful are these heirloom tomatoes! This week, Box Divvy sourced Yellow, Orange and Red Heirloom tomatoes, and they arrived in our delivery today. I can't wait to try them in a salad with our dinner tonight.

Nothing like a classic ham, cheese and tomato toastie for breakfast. This morning's cafe-quality effort from home was elevated with some of our lovely Shepherd's Bakehouse Spelt and Rye Sourdough and a smear of Beerenberg Bavarian Mustard. Delicious!

It's National Macadamia Day tomorrow!

And to celebrate, Box Divvy 500g bags of Macadamias are on special for $19.50. - that's 25% cheaper than comparable macadamias in Coles.

According to the Australia Macadamia website, as well as snacking on these delicious native nuts, you can slow-roast them to bring out their flavour; turn them into macadamia nut butter as an alternative spread for margarine; or make some delicious slices or use as a crumb. If you weren't sure just how good a deal we're getting through Box Divvy for our beautiful Shepherds Bakery artisan loaves of bread, our neighbouring Hub in Macquarie Park has done a price comparison with their nearby greengrocer. Box Divvy comes in at 35% less for the same loaves. Thanks for sharing!

I love it when something new pops into the Box Divvy marketplace and encourages me to try something different. In today's delivery we unboxed Thai Eggplant for the first time this year. It's such a beautiful and striking vegetable! I'll be attempting to cook with it this week for the first time - I'm told it's great in curries and stir fries as it keeps it's shape and bite once cooked.
