Today we received news that one of our colony cats had been attacked by known dogs of the area, whom always seem to get out. Unfortunately our little tippy did not survive and so upset as she was about to be trapped and go to a forever home.

Tippy you will be sadly missed
RIP sweet girl πŸ’”

It’s been a tad busy recently with our team stumbling across a mumma and her kittens and close by to us. We are always driving by with eyes open just incase from our managed colony.

This baby was recently trapped and at day 5 is already purring like crazy, eating from our hands and we excited for the future of this boy!!!

We are calling on rescues if they can assist us with him for rescue. We don’t want to return this beautiful boy to the colony.

Please if you can assist, please inbox us or Natalie Jane Pacialeo Lesley Woodland

We would really like to give this boy a chance xx

Meet GAMBIT πŸ’™

This little cutie has built up so much courage the past few months and is now always patiently waiting for his food right at our feet. Steps closer to possibly socialising 🀞

🚨🚨**ALERT**🚨🚨

πŸ§ͺ The Animal Poisons Helpline has recently received a number of calls regarding dogs ingesting COVID-19 rapid antigen test buffer solutions. As millions of these tests are now being dispersed, we anticipate that calls to the Helpline regarding pets ingesting them will continue to rise.

Some TGA approved rapid antigen test buffer solutions contain a chemical known as sodium azide, which is added as a preservative. Whilst sodium azide is highly toxic, the amount contained in each test is very low and therefore unlikely to pose a significant risk in the vast majority of cases.

The actual risk of poisoning in any individual case will depend on the amount of sodium azide ingested and the weight of the animal involved. Very small animals, or those animals that ingest a number of vials of buffer solution could possibly be at risk of poisoning.

Help us deliver this timely message to pet owners in Australia and New Zealand. Share this post now and make it go 'viral' (pun intended).

☎ If your pet has ingested something they should not have, please phone the Animal Poisons Helpline on 1300 869 738 (AU) or 0800 869 738 (NZ) for advice. We can assess your pet’s exposure and determine if they will be at risk of poisoning and if they require urgent veterinary assessment.

It comes with same news that unfortunately we believe our beautiful Lynx was in an accident and moved away from the road. When we feed we are always on the look out for all our beautiful kitties and noticed Lynx was missing.

This kitty was one of a kind and loved the attention.

Lynx was in transition and soon to be off to fostering after socialising which is truly a shame.

We all miss you Lynx. One beautiful soul and love for mince and lots of attention xx

On a sad note we laid our beautiful Spotty to rest today. She declined very quickly and was extremely unwell. We got her to the vet quickly but the decision was made to send her over the rainbow bridge πŸŒˆπŸ’”.
We would like to thank Dave who created a beautiful resting place for her ❀
