7 healthy beautiful kangaroos hit and killed horrifically between Toolern Vale and Diggers Rest last night. I hate the callous indifference towards animals, especially natives!

We had a visitor yesterday while unpacking an order, he just wouldn’t get off the possum milk, seems even bees like Wombaroo, hung around to do his spring clean then off he went.

Learning to be wombats:

Meet Rex the echidna puggle. He and his new dad called in for milk. Love these perks!

Early morning rescue of a beautiful velvet Joey, she’s doing fine now and in the hands of a wildlife shelter. I would also like to add that our part in this is trivial as we only did the rescue that’s the easy part and the real credit goes to the hundreds of full time wildlife carers and rescue centres who go without to keep these beautiful creatures warm safe and fed at great expense both financially, physically and mentally. They are the real heroes.
