🌸 Young Bess was the first pup to leave Eylesview this morning. It was just amazing to watch her fall in love with her beautiful family the moment she met them. As well as her three humans, she also now has a big BC brother, and he’s red and white, so she’ll feel right at home!! Bess, now known as Mackenzie, is going to be a little bit spoiled I think! 🩷

🌸 It’s a stinker today, so the girls tried some frozen sardines as an entree. It’s the first time they’ve had fresh sardines and they sure were a hit! Marigold was first to devour hers, then Pickles and Fern savoured hers for just a little bit longer.

🐟 What’s the benefit of including sardines in your dog’s diet? They are a wonderful source of omega-3 and vitamins, which benefits joints, skin, coat, hearts and brain function. If fresh sardines aren’t available, try tinned in spring water.

🌸 And just like that, the journey is coming to an end. It’s been an amazing couple of months, but the suitcases are packed and the girls are ready to start their lives with their new families. People often comment on how hard it must be to say goodbye, but it’s actually the best part of the eight weeks. To see the instant love a family feels for their pup is an absolute joy that I feel very blessed to experience. 🩷

🌸 It’s super hot and humid today so the girls got a frozen treat for smoko. This one is made of NORM Freakshake, tinned sardines along with the spring water juice, raw chicken pieces, berries and a little bit of grated cheese. Yummo 😋

🌸 Bess had a great little session this morning. First time trying out her collar and lead and she did so well. No pulling backwards, biting the lead, crying or my favourite, the crocodile roll 😜 Not only that but she also had her first taste of being up close and personal with the tractors, quads and motorbikes but it didn’t seem to faze her. Nice work Bess 👍🏻
