After a very long holiday Michael has purchased 2 geldings. (Apparently my Valentine’s Day present 😜)
Both 3 year olds. Datinka on the left and Twenty Three Wall on the right. Hopefully the rainbow at the stable this morning brings a bit of luck. Both horses have settled in well and are coming to hand nicely.

After a few months break and a holiday in NZ we head to my favourite track in Australia, Mt Garnet Race and Rodeo weekend. Jack aka Don’t Whisper hits the turf in the first race tomorrow. Jack won this race last year so fingers crossed he gets the chocolates again.

A great run by ‘Spiritofthevalley’ winning the last race at cluden today.
Rothero EssGee finished 6th only beaten by 1.7L. He’s still not settling in his races so still has a bit to learn.
Thanks to my strapper Tony Peters 🏇🏇 and for Leeanne McCoy for riding her trackwork every day 🏇🏇

Racing in Townsville today. Rothero EssGee in Race 1 3Yr old maiden 1300m. He over raced last start hoping to get him to settle more today.
‘Spiritofthevalley’ in Race 7 0-55 1000m. She’s been working well.

Rothero EssGee ran well today running 5th. He is still learning so he over raced, but he will learn from the run.
On another note, his full brother Cracker EssGee won at Doomben today. He ran a mighty race.
