Dental day for our new little “Glenelen Razamataz”. Thanks so much to Lisa Raz has proved to be both an absolute gem 💎 of a kids pony and also a complete demon who is completely immune to electricity ⚡️ and delights in zooming around all paddocks stirring up all the horses and behaving like a wild brumby whose never been touched. Shetlands 💩🐴

Taking EOI for a treatment day with Dr Ann Maastricht’s at Beauford Park in Violet Town

Dr Ann Maastricht is an Equine Veterinarian that now focuses solely on Veterinary Chiropractic and Acupuncture.
After an internship in Equine Medicine and Surgery and in particular Equine Lameness at Ballarat Veterinary Practice, Ann took up General Equine Practice at Kilmore Equine Clinic. After seeing many Veterinary cases that General Veterinary Medicine was unable to treat she became interested in Veterinary Chiropractic and Acupuncture. Dr Ann attended the Options for Animals: College of Chiropractic in Kansas, USA to complete the "Essentials in Animal Chiropractic" course and has been Certified by the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association. Dr Ann has also completed the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS) certification in Veterinary Acupuncture. More recently Ann has completed a Graduate Diploma in Animal Biomechanical Medicine and a qualification in Lazaris Nerve Release.

W**d mat woes….
I’ve been to quite a few gardens lately and I just want to say that PLASTIC HAS NO PLACE IN THE LANDSCAPE 😮‍💨that feels a little better but let’s look at the cons:
🌱 w**ds grow ontop of the w**d mat
🌱 roots grow through the mat making them difficult to remove
🌱 water is impeded from even pe*******on of the soil
🌱 the natural biological cycle of the soil is interrupted resulting in a demise of soil health and available nutrients
🌱 it sweats the soil. Meaning moisture sits on the soil surface creating shallow roots and unstable trees
🌱 it just looks cheap and terrible
If you have it in your garden just rip it up and be done with it. Mulch with coarse compost and work with nature to improve your soil. This is really the quickest way to a lush healthy garden 🌸🌸🌸

(Yes, people's neck's move and people have peripheral vision, and horses have a blind spot directly in front of their nose - this is just a visual someone created to show basically what that field of vision looks like as a person and horse is looking forward, giving a general idea of the huge difference in fields of vision in horse versus human)
