Coming back to work after the holidays got us like:
It's important to exercise your dog's mind as much as their body. And it doesn't have to be difficult. Instead of handing over a treat for a cute sit, why not hide it and teach your dog to use it's nose to find it?
These dogs get a dental chew every night before bed. I could ask them to sit or give a paw. However, I've taught them that "Find It" means they have to sniff it out. That way I'm working their mind a bit too. I've hidden it quite easily here for the purpose of the video, but it is also how you would start out. They never wait so patiently down the hall as they do when they know it is for our little game!
