Manitoba Cowgirl sets sights on another CCA and MRCA Finals.

Shayna McCannell originally from Carievale, SK now calls Brandon, MB home is no stranger to the winners circle. Our 2022 CCA Finals Ladies Barrels Racing Champion found herself at the top of the leaderboard this past weekend turning in the fast time of 13.440 at the Double B Agricultural Festival in Beausejour, MB.

Moving up in not only the Canadian Cowboys Association standings but in the MRCA finals Stampede standings as well, we look forward to watching Shayna and her good gelding Handsome at her second consecutive CCA Finals in Saskatoon!

Now the McCannell name is now stranger to the CCA rodeo world. Father Kevin McCannell currently finds himself tied for 12th in the MRCA standings and sisters Bailey and Hannah also find themselves in contention for another CCA Finals Qualification in both the Barrel Racing and Breakaway roping.

Get ready as we gear up for the Canadian Cowboys Association Finals taking place this October 19th-22nd at Prairieland Park in Saskatoon!
