Moe is a sweetheart with more than enough energy to keep you active and entertained daily! He is an American Bulldog cross and is 1 year old. He loves to play fetch - though he's still working out what to do with the ball once he runs to it. He is full of smiles and slobbery kisses! He's a little skittish when meeting new people, but with enough patience and kindness (and treats) he will warm to you in no time. Please note that Moe still has to work on some manners, so he would benefit from a home that can provide proper training and keep him on track. These puppies' personality is are delightful blend of sweetness and curiosity. Always ready to explore new environments and meet new friends, their friendly demeanor is infectious. These playful bundles of energy are eager to please and more eager to give you tiny puppy kisses. Despite their high energy, they have a cuddly side, loving nothing more than snuggling up for a good nap. These puppies curiosity and playful spirit make for the best blend, perfect for a family seeking a new BFF (best fury friend! 🐶) that is both energetic and affectionate.

Every animal deserves a loving home. At the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society, we strive to find a home for each animal that comes into our care, no matter how long it takes. Unfortunately, some animals are overlooked by adopters and it takes them a little longer before they walk out our doors with their new family. 🏡
We refer to animals who have been in our care for over 30 days as long-term residents. To help these furry friends find their home, we have added a frame with the “long-term resident” designation around the photos of these animals on our adoption page. If you have been thinking about adopting, consider a long-term resident! 🐾

Oh Hey, I'm Domi! I am a 10 month old Mastiff cross (aren't I a handsome boy?). 😍 Life's an adventure and I'm always ready for the next fun thing. My energy is contagious, and I love making new friends. My curious mind is always at work, solving puzzles and finding hidden treats. I'm a bit of a goofball too, making everyone laugh with my playful antics. But, I'm also a quick learner, mastering new tricks faster than you can say 'fetch'. I promise to bring joy, laughter and a whole lot of love to your home. They say I'm a little dramatic when I don't get my way and need some basic manners but I am eager to please my human friends.
I like to play with other dogs but I am a big boy, I play a little rough and I'm not really careful with smaller dogs. I'm untested with cats and because of my size, I would do better with older or dog-savvy kids.

We are reaching out again to our paw-some community for donations of sheets and blankets. If you're cleaning out your linen closet and have some to spare we would love to take them off your hands and put them to good use here.

Meet Watson 😍, a 2 year old dog with a zest for life that's contagious. His independent spirit is admirable, and his energy is boundless. Watson's curiosity knows no bounds; he loves exploring new places. He's the perfect companion for older kids who can match his lively, boisterous nature. Watson's independence doesn't mean he doesn't love company; he enjoys being around people, but will need a patient home, willing to provide guidance and training. Watson would do best as the only animal in the house. He's looking for a family who can embrace his adventurous spirit and provide him with a loving home.

I am super friendly and playful. I have even learned how to play fetch. I am always up for a new adventure! I do have a few scars and require a gentle slow hand as fast movements and new situations still have me worried. I need a human who can be brave for me when I am unsure. I love to crawl into your lap and give big kisses. Be warned, I am a huge bed hog! I would do best in a home where I am the only dog (I like to be the center of attention) and I am untested with cats and small animals. However, I do love kids but recommend older children as I can be a bit jumpy when excited. Could you be the perfect home for me? Although I enjoy the company of other dogs in public, I would do best in a home with no other dogs so I can be the centre of attention and in a home with no cats or small animals. Beanie is an 8 month old Siberian husky mix with a lot of energy, and she’s looking for a home that can give her all the cuddles and playtime she could possibly want. She does have experience living with other dogs, and is wonderful with children. She knows her basic commands, though still working on her listening skills when there’s distractions like birds and toys around. Quilly Nelson spends most of his time during the day sleeping in his piggy house, but is very active on his wheel at night! Hedgehogs require more maintenance than our other small furry friends.
