Have you ever seen a Highland Lynx before? It was a first for us, too!

Rex is a kitten with a nub tail and curly ears, and he sure is king in our hearts! His special ears required gentle cleaning and a cat creamy helped us get the job done.

Kingsley models a vet wrap bandage after a blood draw. All colours look so good on his fur!

If your pet has a vet wrap bandage due to a blood draw or catheter, our team will instruct you on when to remove it...usually between 15-30 minutes after you leave our clinic. They apply pressure to the small wound in the vein, but leaving it on too long may cause swelling or damage. When in doubt, give us a call, we're always happy to answer aftercare questions!

Quills from a porcupine can migrate from the skin or face to other parts of the body, including major organs, where although tiny, they can cause big problems!

After some mild sedation and careful precision, these teeeeeeeeny quills were plucked and this pup and family can rest easy knowing there aren't going to be any unexpected surprises in the future due to leftover quills.

That's one lucky duck! We treat Neno, our feathered friend, as a special case and it's always tremendously exciting when this cutie is in clinic! 🦆

Ducks can make great pets but require a lot of special care!!! Neno has such a kind and caring owner, we know he is in good wings!

Good Golden Girl Gilda Getting Great Grippies

Say THAT five times fast!

Gilda is a girl with a lot of loving and friendly energy, so after some sedation she was extra cuddly and really leaned into those scratchies! Give it up for Gilda!

Apollo getting a sedated lion shave, showing how we offer safe and thorough services to our feline friends!

Sedated lion trims do not require full anesthesia (they don't require a breathing tube), but are sedated at a level that allows us to clip and shave the hair back without the patient getting scared, twitching, jumping, biting, or scratching. Our oxygen masks help the patients breathe easily, and keeps hair puffs from going up their nose!

After his lion shave, beautiful Apollo was cool, comfortable, and mat-free!

Ears up, little Indy!

This adorable rat terrier was treated for possible ear mites. Ear mites, ear infections, and allergies can all present in similar ways, so we perform our fear-free exams to determine what is bothering your pets ears, and once that has been discovered we can apply the correct and safest treatment! If your pet is scratching and shaking, call us-we'll be all ears!

Theo stopped to smell-and wear!-the flowers after his neuter. His sweet nature needed to be enhanced by a sweet little daisy 🌼

When your pet recovers from a procedure, our team regularly checks temperature, respiration, and heart rate to make sure everything is okay. We offer food and water if safe to do so, we take them for routine potty breaks and provide clean litter trays, and clean up any mess that happens so your pet is as comfortable as possible. We also cuddle, kiss, sing to, and take cute pictures of them! If your pet is in our clinic for treatment, you know they’re receiving the best care and the most love!!!
