Just incase you wanted to be grossed out today...
It's tick season, folks.
We have had a few customers with questions regarding them lately and just removed our first of the year this week. While our own tick population is not nearly as dense as some of our neighbors with grasslands to the south, we definitely do have them in the area. It never hurts to give your pets a good check over once in awhile, especially those that spend alot of time enjoying our glorious outdoors.
Your groomer gets a very up close and personal look at every part of your pet. If something is there, rest assured, we will find it.
If you find any at home and are unsure (or even squeamish)about safe removal, please donโt hesitate to contact us and we can quickly and safely remove them.
Although we haven't seen any yet, the warmer weather of springtime can also bring with it an increase in fleas and canine lice. Now is a good time to proactively treat your pets with an oral or topical flea treatment.
