We will be closed Monday November 11th in honour of Remembrance Day. We will have our regular hours tomorrow (Saturday November 9th) from 9am-2pm, closed Sunday/Monday, and open our normal hours Tuesday (November 12th) from 7:30am-5:30pm.

Our clinic will be closed today between 12:00 to 2:00 pm for staff training. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to enhance our services.

Additionally, we are excited to participate in the Trick or Treat event in Historic Downtown Cochrane from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Make sure you stop by for some treats and join in the festivities.

Halloween can be a fun time for families, but it’s important to ensure the safety of your pets during the celebrations. Here are some tips to keep in mind:
1. Be cautious with costumes. If you choose to dress up your pet, ensure the costume fits properly and does not restrict movement, breathing, or vision. Avoid costumes with small, chewable parts.
2. Keep candy out of reach. Many Halloween treats, particularly chocolate and those containing xylitol, are toxic to pets. Store candy in secure locations where pets can’t access it.
3. Watch for door hazards. With trick-or-treaters coming and going, doors are constantly opening and closing. Consider keeping your pet in a safe, quiet room to prevent them from darting outside or getting stressed.
4. Be mindful of decorations. Pets can easily get tangled in strings, cords, or other decorations. Avoid using candles, as curious pets might knock them over, causing burns or fires.

By following these tips, you can help ensure your pet stays happy and safe during Halloween festivities.

RVT Michele and adorable Chief had a lovely chat prior to Chief’s neuter procedure this week❤️ Michele noticed he was a bit anxious in his kennel so he got to spend time out in our treatment room while we got everything ready for his surgery. We assured him all would be okay and he of course had lots of cuddles throughout the day😊 We wish him a speedy recovery!❤️

Max was a great patient for us earlier in the month for his dental procedure. The first photo is during his post-dental recheck🦷 There are some graphic photos of him having teeth extracted in this post. He was such a great boy, big thanks to his parents for letting us share his procedure with everyone!😊

Handsome Fable came for a visit recently😊 we’ve had the pleasure of watching him grow from just a puppy to a senior as he is one of our first patients❤️ it’s always so nice seeing him and he loves coming in for liver treats😂

Happy Fun Friday🎉 Shout out to Dr. Moe for always being up for finding fun things! The purpose of these chains are to connect to our sling but don’t worry, no humans were made to go in then slings this week😂😂

We have 2 sets of these contraptions in the clinic for us to do our nail trims/exams while patients are in the sling. One set of the chains are in an exam room so you might see them when you visit.

We’ll have some behind the scenes photos coming up within the next couple months so you’ll get to see the sling in action with a patient🐾

Sweetheart Cassie came in for a dental procedure today and she was such a great patient! Her day started by getting lots of cuddles and then we gave her the option to pick out her own toy to have for her recovery😊 She had a great dental procedure and then got to spend her recovery all cozy in her blankets. She then got all tidied up (in between cuddles of course) before she went home 💕 Thanks for being such a sweet girl Cassie!
