Les compétitions arrivent à grands pas et il n’est jamais trop tôt pour commencer la préparation en vue de la saison 2022. Quoi de mieux que de faire appel à un œil extérieur plus que qualifier pour vous aider à atteindre vos objectifs pour la prochaine saison ?

L’APEQ organise une clinique version covid 19; c’est-à-dire de manière virtuelle avec M. Scott Carmichael.

Le concept est simple, vous prenez une vidéo de vous en action dans n’importe quelle discipline de votre choix.
Le cout est de 45 $ par vidéo (vous comprendrez donc que le temps alloué à votre vidéo doit être suffisant afin de laisser le temps de bien analyser)

Vous aurez donc du 1er février 2022 au 28 février pour nous faire parvenir votre vidéo.
(Le temps de réception de la critique peut varier selon la période de soumission)

So happy with the last couple weeks at the Congress!

Do you really have what it takes?

The Logic

Are you willing to get up at 4AM
To avoid the heat of the day?

After feeding horses with no supper, no shower,

Do you get goosebumps the first time their eye gets quiet and they stop and ask what to do?
Does the first time ones rear drops and they softly quit moving forward, send a thrill though you?

Have you ever rode in a trailer 4 hours with one with a belly ache?
Cried at the loss of a foal, or woke up in middle of the night worried you heard the opening of a gate?

Have you ever looked at one and just knew it was going to be a star?
Or cringed when you knew one wasn't going to be what the owner wanted and called them and said "come get him"
and lost that months payment on your car?

Then you my friend are a horseman
It's a mighty fine trait to bare.
Good horses get harder and harder to find
And good horseman are more and more rare. “

It has been a busy couple weeks! We had a great show at Summerama! Scott Carmichael and On Hocus Terms had wins in the green western pleasure, and with Craig Cunningham top placings in L1 Western Pleasure. Bre Lywood and The Only Way To Lope, 9 firsts and 1 second in L1 and Rookie Horsemanship! Winning the circuit championship in both classes! Jeremy Blackmore and VS Barcode placing.

Then off to Sorel Quebec to judge the first annual Cheval Quebec Circuit Provincial. What a great show! Huge classes, tough competition and very well run, a great experience!
