Are you interested in learning about chickens?

We have our Chickens for Beginners Class on July 16 from 2-3pm
$10 per person

You will learn:
*The difference between a layer, meat and dual purpose chickens
*Biosecurity
*What a proper coop should entail
*What items you should keep on hand
*What chickens eat

You will see and hold chicks/ chickens if you are comfortable.

Did you know we hatch chicks to purchase?

We sell: day olds
3 week olds
6 week olds

All of our chicks come as straight runs.
At 3 weeks we are able to get the chicks used to being outside, with other animals and handled by people.
At 6 weeks they are off heat and by this point I try to spot any roosters, this is helpful to clients who may not be allowed to have roosters where they are.

These 5 three week old rainbow hatching chicks are set to go to a farm next week!

Hi I’m a polish/ silkie cross looking for a new coop to call my own! I’m interested in a set of hens that likes to roost low or sometimes in a snuggle puddle under the roost altogether… I’m good either way. I haven’t attacked any of these humans but I also don’t want to hang out with them. They have dog who I tolerate, cats that I like to bug, ducks that annoy me, rabbits that actually don’t bother me much, they are alright actually and Guineas that I try to take their food if the lady that feeds everyone isn’t fast enough. I really don’t want to compete for my ladies affection so I’m best if I’m the only rooster. I’ve been attacking my dad lately and that lady who feeds the animals said enough is enough I’ve got to go!! I’m not taking this from her so before she sends me to freezer camp which seems pretty cold I’m trying to fly the coop! She says I’m Free to right set of hens 😉 PM the lady who feeds me if interested or more information 😘

Ducks are laying 🥚 we will be offering our brooder program for ducks and chickens starting next month!

Perfect for homeschooling, classrooms or a family project!

*$180 comes with everything you need to start chicks and ducklings. This is a 5-6 week program from incubating up to 2 weeks old.

Last night for the first time we had a FOX attack our coop. It was the meat chickens 😬🐔 every chicken is ok. One was sitting at the edge of the pen and was hurt but we brought it in and it’s doing ok this morning! Remember to lock those coops up safe my friends! Predators are out in full force.

A frequently asked question we have is are brown eggs healthier than white eggs?
