Updates to CDC’s August 1 dog importation rule: If you are bringing a dog into the US from a dog rabies-free or low-risk country, you now only need to fill out the simple CDC Dog Import Form. Other forms are no longer needed. The requirements for dogs arriving from high-risk countries have not changed, and these dogs are still required to have additional documents. Peewee wants to make an announcement!!! With this increase in temperature, keep your furry loved ones out of the heat! Dogs and cats should not be left in hot cars or in areas where there is not proper shade/air conditioning.
Consider waiting until late in the day or early mornings for walks to avoid pad burns due to hot pavement.

Our Huk x Ritz litter had their first vaccines today. Everyone is healthy and headed off to their new homes soon. These pups were named after our vet and staff at Leamington Veterinary Clinic. Here they are being held by their namesakes, Becky, Baylee, Dr. Dana and Sue.

We are currently dealing with an internet issue here at the clinic. Our phone lines are down and our debit/credit machine isn’t working.
We are actively trying to fix this problem and hope to resume business as usual!
Please be patient with us as we are doing our best to navigate without the internet (ah! Scary!). We do ask that if you have a booked appointment tomorrow to be aware we will be taking cash ONLY or writing down Visa/Mastercard numbers to process invoices when our machine is working again.

We are a fast paced, 2 Veterinarian practice that deals strictly with small animals and the occasional exotics. Looking to hire a Veterinary Technician student, Veterinary Technician or Registered Veterinary Technician. We would prefer the applicant to have some schooling under their belt, but experience is not required. Expected to complete the roles of a VT/RVT in the clinical setting such as: perform x-rays, anesthetics, patient monitoring, surgical assistant, dentals, venipuncture, restraining, communicating with clients, educating clients and good in emergency situations etc. We do an array of surgeries in this clinic, not limited to spays, neuters and dentals. We do bone surgeries, eye surgeries and other breed specific surgeries. We are a small town clinic and have close patient/client/employee relationships. Scrub allowance, pet care and food discounts available. We are looking for a compassionate, intelligent, eager individual to join our team of RVT/VT's!

ONE mosquito bite started this. ONE. Monthly heartworm prevention is necessary 12 months a year. It takes one infected mosquito bite to cause this. It can happen inside your house or on a 5 minute potty break.
Monthly prevention is the only way to stop this from happening!!

Mr. Max the Bearded Dragon came in today for a manicure/pedicure with RVT Baylee! Of course we had to document Dr Bhargav’s FIRST time holding a reptile! 🦎🦎🦎
Little “Scooter” recently became an amputee, and has been spending some time with us while he heals. He really likes to hold your hand for emotional support! We are happy he is going to have a wonderful, long, full life as a tripod!
