Looks like the new colony of Dusky Millions Fish just exploded. I picked the 2 sharpest males and 3 most colourful females and started a new colony about 2wks ago. Now there's around a dozen fry 😍
I'm hoping if I continue to keep selecting the best fish outta multiple colonies that I can cover both male and females with their yellow and black signature markings. I've been working with this group for almost 4yrs now and although bias, I believe their overall patterns and brightness have increased over time. The 2nd and 3rd pic is an "average" male and the 3rd and 4th are pics from 2yrs ago.

🤩🤩🤩 my very 1st confirmed Corydoras Pygmaeus! With the amount of eggs that they've been throwing I had hoped a few were surviving but even seeing one is all the proof I needed and then I found another! 2 fry that I can see definitely suggest there's more in there I can't 😉 Soooooo excited. I'd love to get a huge colony of these going and move them into a bigger tank to really exhibit their quirky behavior. Love these fish 😍

My newest additions 😍 Added 10 Corydoras Arcuatus and 9 more Glossolepis Wanamensis. I've recently started pulling eggs from my other group and really want to speed up the progress and couldn't resist starting another colony of these rare rainbows. The corys will likely time some time to mature but I was very excited to add these to the collection as well for future projects. Stay tuned for more updates 😊

Got some new stock last night! 25+ Ameca Splendens with different lineage from my other group and another pair of Trifasciatis "Goyder Rivers"

Huge shout out to Ed Plesko for gifting me the last pair of those Goyders. An absolutely stunning fish. I cannot wait to become more successful at raising their fry and making them available to the public.

Melanotaenia Trifasciatis Goyder River

The Goyder aka Banded Rainbow is widely considered the most stunning member in the Trifasciatis family and is native to the Northern parts of Australia. These species are one of the larger rainbows and can get upwards of 6" in length. Both genders are very colourful but during mating the males will exhibit a crimson red body with a solid black "band" or stripe.

I was very fortunate to obtain 3 mature pairs at our local auction from Ed Plesko but I'm lead to believe they also originate from Jeff Burch. They are still currently in quarantine but will soon be moved into an independent tank with the purpose of breeding. With any luck, I should have some available by 2021. Keep your eyes peeled 😉

Glossolepis Wanamensis

Arguably my rarest and most critically endangered spieces. Endemic to Lake Wanam in Papua New Guinea, these beautiful green and blue rainbowfish have been thought to be extinct in the wild. Thankfully because of the aquarium hobby, wild caught specimens have been successfully bred to help ensure their future survival. I orginally obtained my 3 pairs from Pet Paradise here in London but have learned that they originate from local legend Jeff Burch. My goal is to maintain, preserve and distribute these beauties by 2021

Thank you for taking the time to review and like my page. As most of you know, I've become obsessed with the conservation of freshwater speices and want to make them more readily available to my fellow enthusiasts. I currently have a handful of CARES speices along with several Red Listed fish and hope to have success breeding and distributing them amongst my peers. I also have several different varieties of Bucephalandra, which as some of you might know is threatened as well. Overall my goal is to responsibly cultivate these and encourage others to do the same, while sharing my experiences and knowledge along the way.
