This little cutie was with us yesterday for her spay surgery. She wasn’t fond of her cone so we fitted her in a surgical suit and she was much happier!! Surgical suits can be a great alternative to cones and
we think she looks extra pretty in pink🩷✨

Today is Bring your Cat to work day. Would your cat enjoy a day at work with you? Have you ever brought them to work? If so, how did that go? Some cats are home bodies while others are bold and explorative. Those brave pawed souls deserve to see where their humans go for so many hours of the day. If you are going to bring your kitty to work be sure to bring some cats toys from home and a kitty bed as well so they have familiar smells to help them get acclimated when they get to the office. Fun Fact— in an episode of “The Office” it is revealed that Angela Kinsey keeps her cat named Bandit in the bottom drawer of her filing cabinet. Enjoy this special day with you cat at work. We would love to see a picture.

Today is World Pet Memorial Day. I’d like to leave this poem here by Linda Barnes. It sums up all the feelings we go through when grieving our pets in such a beautiful way.

They will not go quietly, the pets who’ve shared our lives.
In subtle ways they let us know their spirit still survives.
Old habits make us think we hear them at the door. Or step back when we drop a tasty morel on the floor. Our feet still go around the place the food dish used to be. And sometimes coming home at night we miss them terribly.
And although time may bring new friends and a new dish to fill that one place in our hearts belongs to them and always will.
