Bring our community together to grow, share and experience Pawson Park In summer of 2011 a "new" Pawson Park was revealed.

The City of Nanaimo with consultation and involvement of the surrounding community created a great gathering place on the corner of Fitzwilliam & Machleary St. Changes to the park include: removing decommissioned outdoor pool & added a new playground equipment, 6 new garden beds, community art projects & renovated bathrooms. A local artist, Yvonne, listened to our neighborhood character and reflected it in her beautiful mural.
