Sharing a little story here first and will be posting sale photos and videos/ ads next for those that may be interested!

Molly- 17 yo 16hh APHA mare. Was used for 4h extensively through all levels. Shows in various open shows. Western pleasure, English pleasure, cowboy trail, parades, grand entry & rodeo. Has been ridden by an adult the last few years and sat for the winter. She is a lovely all round mare, well broke, and easy to handle.

Dillion- 10 yo APHA GELDING. 15’3 thick dude.
Trails, amazing at cowboy challenges, flag/ cow and buffalo work.
Previous owners: trained him to be a ranch horse and head horse. Has been packed and hunted off
Current owner: Light roping and trails ( goes through rivers, bridges, boges, swims), has done many clinics, lessons off this horse
Can be a bit testy, more suited for intermediate riders. Well broke and travels around beautifully.
Can sit and is not herd bound.

Empowering ladies night filled with laughter, good vibes, and some great triumphs !

I am super passionate about creating a supportive environment for people to embrace their love of horses and that’s what this ladies night is all about. To uplift each other in our journey of improving our horsemanship and our relationship with our horses. Especially the youngings starting out their journeys with their horses, it’s so important to allow them an environment where it’s ok to learn and grow!

I cannot wait to keep this journey going and I am so grateful for each of you that have showed up at the ladies nights making this world a brighter place!

I recently had the pleasure of hosting an enjoyable ladies night where we spent time outdoors, basking in the sunshine and fostering a supportive atmosphere for ourselves and our horses.

My intentions for organizing these events was to create a safe, encouraging, and enjoyable setting that allows individuals to learn and grow. Each ladies' night reinforces the significance of having a supportive network and positive energy while interacting with horses. There are numerous negative experiences that people encounter, and my intention is to create a supportive and encouraging environment that inspires individuals to try new things and embrace their journeys with their horses!

If you’re looking to buy a horse, please don’t buy one that is in a daily program if you, at best, ride two or three times each month.

If you primarily trail ride, don’t shop in the arenas. It isn’t fair to you; it isn’t fair to the horse.

If you’re a rider who needs a great deal of control, don’t buy the horse who revels in freedom of movement, the one who can—and must—go for miles.

If you're in the place where your learning is new and almost overwhelming, don’t buy the horse who still needs a teacher.

Why not? I’ll repeat, it isn’t fair to the horse.

Riders, we need to get honest with where we are in the saddle! Now. Not someday, not maybe, but now. Our reluctance to do so is perhaps the biggest reason it’s so hard to find a good match.

If we’re afraid, even just a little bit, then we need to own it. If we no longer ride as often, or as athletically as we once did, then we need to say so. Why?

Because until we get honest with ourselves, we will never be fair to the horse.

Had a lovely turn out at our first ever LADIES NIGHT hosted at Melody Ranch! 🐎😊

It was a such a fun night, filled with good vibes! The ladies all did great and made some great progress with their horses!

Yesterday I worked with all the client horses on picking you up from a mounting block! I like teaching this skill because it…

1: Make it easier for a rider to mount their horse

2: Your horse can pick you up from anywhere, ei rock, fence, mounting block

3: Easier on the horse

4: Teaches them to follow a feel when your above them

5: Gets horses used to you and other things being above them

6: Teaches body control

7: Helps reinforce patience to stand to be mounted

Each horse I worked with had a different training lesson as each horse had something different that they needed me to focus on. For example some horses are nervous when you are above them, so in order for this to be successful you need to recognize that and get the horse comfortable with it first.

Break it down into segments, get them thinking, get them comfortable and don’t forget to reward their try!

Had such a lovely day enjoying and sharing the joys of creating beautiful relationships with horses 🤍

Two lovely ladies had their first lesson back after years of not riding. It was incredible to watch these ladies regain their love and confidence throughout the lesson!

I then worked with a few client horses and made some great progress with them. I always ensure I have the awareness of where we started and where we are now, so I can recognize the little improvements and wins these horses are having and reward them for their slightest tries 🤍

Meet Denali (18) & Ocean (17) 🐎

These ladies are the faces of our lesson program!

Denali is a sweetheart little black mare that was used for barrels, then was used as a trail horse for the last few years, packing around riders of all different skill levels, hunting, over night trips etc! She is a lovely mare, that has the comfiest rocking horse lope, making learning gaits on her much easier!

Ocean is the beautiful black and white paint with one blue eye that has been used in a lesson program for many years, this mare loves to be ridden and enjoys adventuring! She will walk or jog around with you all day and loves to please!

They both have years of life experience carrying around different riders making them a great adddition to our program!

I have had some exciting jam packed days the past few days! 🐎🤍

4HOP was this weekend, which is a horse show for the 4h kids to participate in at the stampede grounds! I went there with another coach to support the kids! It was such an incredibly rewarding few days watching all the kids show! They all worked so hard this year and made me so proud!

Then starting Sunday I had clients dropping off horses 🐎 YAY!!!! I have two older client horses in for some refreshers and another one gelding that will be listed for sale!! - STAY TUNED!

Today we got the lesson horses settled, Denali and ocean 🤍 Had a little ride on both of them! I am so excited for everyone to get to enjoy these lovely mares!

Here’s to more days pursuing my passion and sharing my journey with you all! 🙌

>My goal is to teach a solid foundation with all horses I work with. I take time to read the horses and watch for subtle signs of relaxation and stress. Under saddle I enjoy working with horses to create softness and the ability to move different parts of their body to allow them to be a handier partner to ride. I enjoy exposing horses to new things, creating versitility and building confidence in the horse so you and your partner can accomplish your riding goals!

I have experience working with a variety of horses such as a reject bucking horse, untouched horses, performance horses, lesson horses and problem horses.

Your horses will be well cared for at a top notch facility in High River, AB with paddock board, and the option for indoor board!

I am thrilled to share the news that I will be operating out of Melody Ranch starting June 1st.

I will be offering western horse training and riding lessons, with the option to haul in for lessons at this lovely facility. With an indoor arena, huge outdoor arena, round pen, hot walker, mechanical cow, etc the possibilities for equine education and enjoyment are vast.

I am so incredibly grateful and blessed to be able to offer these services out of such a lovely facility with the best energy!

Has it ever been a busy week around here!!!

AND I’M LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT!

•Zeus is settling in well, and getting all the arena miles well the ground dries up! He’s come so far in the week I’ve had him and I’m so excited to see how much we can accomplish this month!

•I’ve got some of my personal horses rode, trialing out the ground for client horses!

• Coached 4h and we did a super fun musical ride

• Working on finalizing insurance so I can get lessons happening

I’m so excited for what the future has in store and appreciate everyone’s support along the way!
