We're back with a from Daisy who was adopted by one of our students last fall.
"Just an update on Daisy. She’s been with me for nearly a year now and she is still the best addition to our family. Since day one she fit right in and loves to be a part of everything especially when her sisters are there too. She is the cuddliest girl and wants to do everything to please you! She is definitely my spoiled little princess."

It's orientation day!! We are excited to welcome a new class of Veterinary Technicians. Sue and Kyle are the official greeting committee for our new students as they start their journey in the Georgian College Vet Tech program.

On August 6 and 13th Georgian College in partnership with the The Ontario SPCA and Humane Society provided vaccine and wellness exam appointments to local rescues. This 2-day event gave Veterinary Assistant students valuable hands-on experience. There was 30 cats/kittens and 8 dogs that received preventative care on these 2 days. Partnerships like this one help to educate new veterinary medical team members as well as support local animals in need.

Calling all black and white cat lovers! Ash is a lively and vocal cat with a personality that shines bright. I am the purr-fect little Polydactyl! I’m super fun but also friendly and affectionate. 💙Mugsy is a big beautiful boy, just looking for a loving family to call his own. Mugsy is a happy go lucky fella, who loves attention and likes to be around his hoomans. He is large and may look tough, but don't let his appearance fool ya, he's a gentle giant! He is definitely lab, he's goofy and a total lover.

He is energetic and has a lot of lab traits. His size comes from a bigger breed, perhaps Great Dane or a Mastiff type mix. His number one favourite thing to do is play with toys. He will happily play fetch with you for as long as you're going to throw the toys. He loves to run around and play tug of war. He can be a funny big goofball, he likes to slide down hills on his back and roll around with his toys in the grass. He can get a bit excited and jump a little, but he is learning to not do that.

He listens very well and has basic commands down pat. He is a very good boy, and he's smart, always eager to learn new things. He has lots of energy to run around outside and go for walks, but then he's quite happy to lie down and chill and get lots of belly rubs when he comes in.

He is a very affectionate guy, really enjoying his ears and neck being rubbed. He is inquisitive and likes to be in on the action and see what you're doing. Once he gets to know you he really gets attached and would be a super loyal family dog. He has a very positive attitude and an even temperament. If you are looking for a large canine companion, then come meet our Mugsy 🙂
