When momma puts the groceries away but you are not done eating!🖤
So thankful for good friends and neighbours, the cows are home for the winter!🖤
Enjoying the evenings out at the barn getting animals ready for our local fairs. Just over a week until Emo and the weekend after our fair in Dryden. A barn full of animals is lots of work but it’s also family time we will all remember for years to come. Love our life!🖤
A little rain and the pastures are ready to go, listen to the cows telling the farmer to hurry up and open the gate!🖤
The last of the ladies out to pasture today!🖤
Thank you to everyone for your participation and support!
Pregnancy checked our cows today, other than our jersey who only likes to have a calf every second year 🤦🏼♀️ everyone else is bred, good news for us. Got this cool video of the ultra sound machine, you can actually see the calf’s mouth chewing, technology sure makes our lives easier! Thanks to Dr. Bob and Linda from Hillcrest Animal Clinic for the efficient service! 🖤
Farm dogs, always ready to work, even when there is no work to be done! 🤷🏼♀️🖤
Following the food wagon!🖤
The ladies hear the tractor start up, supper time is noisy around our house!!🖤
Reunited 🖤
Time to bring the rest of the herd home, first load has landed, let the pushing begin as they re-establish their pecking order 🖤
Maternity ward is full, we are half done calving, feeling blessed with quiet cows, healthy calves & warm weather❤️
