Our group has dwindled down for various reasons, but we are super excited to welcome at least 2 dogs into our care!

Senior chihuahua is looking for a foster/forever home!
She's the one wearing the brown camouflage jacket and as you can see, she can hold her own pretty well!

Oreo is an 11 year old, 6 pound chihuahua.
She is spayed and vaccinated and will be dewormed and microchipped once she arrives in Ottawa.

Foster family needed for Freya!

This 8 month old, 9 pound, female chihuahua would love to get in the transport van, set to arrive on May 7th. She is eager to make the trip all the way from California for a better chance at finding a loving home!

Freya has lived with cats and dogs.
She is a puppy and still needs to learn a few things, but "she's a lovely dog".

The past two years has been devastating for many of us and some of us may have "lost our way" for awhile, but we are strong 💪 and we bounce back...even if it means accepting change 🤷‍♀️

I've struggled to get back into running a grooming shop for a variety of reasons and have finally decided that it's time to move on
to a different "adventure" after almost 30 years of enjoying one of the most satisfying careers EVER 💞

I apologize if I have not returned your messages.
Please know that my current living situation is not ideal for running a business and although I was hopeful to accommodate you, I learned quickly that that was going to be extremely difficult in most cases 🙁.
One more move planned soon and OMG, please let it be the last 🙏

Barking Beauties Rescue/Grooming is a non-profit organization that will be hosting nail trim and touch up events to help provide for our 'rescued love', so we might see each other again 🤞

I have been rescuing our feline friends for five years now, and with the help of foster families, we are able to help homeless dogs from the states as well!
Unfortunately, our stateside neighbors have a huge problem with unwanted dogs and kill shelters are always euthanizing healthy animals just to make room for more!

On April 3rd, we received our first group of five homeless dogs from Texas and we have four more confirmed to arrive on May 7th!

We are in need of foster families with fully fenced yards!
Most dogs we receive need a little time to decompress and readjust.
They need time to let their true personalities shine so we can find the best possible home for them!

So, this happened today 😄

It's been 2 YEARS since I've seen my good friend Zoey and I must say, I've missed the sweet little girl!

In fact, I've missed so many of my tiny clients coming to my quiet little environment so much that I've decided to open up for business again in Rockland 💞

I thank my fellow groomers at Bark Avenue for having me and I highly recommend their services, especially for larger sized breeds, but my heart is with the ones I know and never stopped thinking about.
Sadly, I've seen several rest in peace notices and I'm so sorry I couldn't have been your groomer until the end 💔
I hope your groomer in the sky showers you with baths made of gravy 🌈

It's been a roller coaster of a time for the past couple of years and I'm glad so many of you are willing to come back; I've never stopped thinking about you and I can't wait to see you again 💞
