Hey everyone! With the cold weather keeping us all inside, it can be tough to find ways to
keep our dogs entertained and engaged Here's a fun training game you can try at home to
keep your pups' minds and bodies active.
Set up a series of obstacles using items you have around the house (eg chairs, boxes,
pillows, etc)
• Teach your dog to navigate the obstacle course by giving them verbal cues and rewards
for completing each challenge
• You can vary the difficulty of the course by adding new elements or changing the order
of the obstacles
Not only is this a great way to keep your dog entertained, it's also a great opportunity to
bond and work on your training skills. Stay warm and have fun!*

Lots of people are dealing with fearful and anxious dogs at the moment. To help your dog in the present you could try drowning the fireworks out, keeping your pup distracted with play or obedience, creating a safe space in their crate with a distraction such as a peanut butter kong.

There are ways to work with your dog to prepare them for next time. Here is Mala and Cash not being distracted by constant fireworks.
