Largest fish to date and first lake trout. This reproduction showed up a total disaster and took about two weeks to fix up before painting. Blows me away how some species of fish have splice colour variations! This lake trout that was originally caught was super green! The spots and scale tipping definitely had me dizzy. 🥴🫠🤪

Into the final stage of this lake trout. Finally getting a gloss and it will be onto a moose antler for the wall. This coming week will be busy as I am desperately trying to catch up on everyone’s projects!
As most of you know it has been a awful year for our family with my husband have two major emergency surgeries (and I being his/ and our kids caregiver during this time). Covid and a injury myself that I am still struggling with. Thank you for those who have been patient and understanding it has not gone unnoticed! 💖 I am one person and doing all that I can possibly do well still needing to care for myself and family.

Such a perfect day! Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us. For some of you know this year has been pretty tough on us. We were happy to survived the day and get through it. Was so lovely having people celebrate with us. As Tom and I both say we already felt married but guess we may as well have made it official haha. A very special thank you to for the beautiful work you continue to amaze me. Keely does out of this world delicious cakes and cupcakes! Biting into her creations honestly fill your heart. I am so incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to meet her. Her heart is huge and one of the sweetest I have ever got the pleasure of meeting. for being so speedy, funny, and so very talented! .davidson for whipping up all the beautiful words and being a amazing bridesmaid and MP! Nicole I honestly believe I wouldn’t make it down the isle or even as far as I did without you. Our wedding party was great help with everything. Thank you everyone for making the day possible and so special 💖 now that is well and home from multiple surgeries. And now that we are all over Covid it’s back to the grind! Stay posted for updates on projects!

✨SHARING IS MUCH APPRECIATED! ✨

With IG and Facebook taking the quality of picture way down.. it only can give you a idea of how gorgeous this piece really is! People get the wrong idea when hearing “replica” but I can tell you this looks more real than you will ever get with a skin mount! With salmon and trout they are so oily and thin skinned it’s extremely difficult not to loose the majority of scales and have the skin overly stretched out. A replica is a cast from a real fish with amazing detail! With enough reference photos and details of body of water it was caught in. A replica can hold immaculate detail! This is my first salmon painted and not to toot my own horn but I’m going to be sad to see this one leave! 😍✨

had a friend reach out looking for a idea for a last minute Christmas gift for her friend. Sadly I didn’t have a lot of time or supplies in. But we brainstormed a idea and came up with something that I was able to whip up super fast. She was very happy with the outcome as was the person she gave it to. This being said I’m hoping come late new year I can start adding a few “gift” ideas to a shop section on my page. I would love to hear some out put on the idea and anything you would like to see.

Well I had a nice young gentleman drop off this little velvet! I was honest and said this is a total learning curve and have never done a velvet buck! All and all it turned out great we were both very happy with the final product! I may try and fluff the next one I get a bit better next time. All and all it was a fun little experiment. This buck was so young his back molars hadn’t popped through yet. Was super cool looking!

So sadly I ran out of wall space before I was able to take a proper picture. This customer asked for a bit of life put back into these antlers as they were a bit sun bleached when brought in. We added a frame and photo to this mount just to make it that extra bit special.

Grateful I got to do at least one of these this year! Turkey Fans are one of my favourite mounts to do! They turn out so amazingly beautiful.

We had another lovely customer pick up his deer today (totally forgot to take a picture after it was done drying -hence the zip tie)
It was so lovely working with Ryan and his brother this past hunting season. Love making new regular customer and long loyal friends into customers😊. I can’t wait to see what they bring me next!

I was given creativity freedom much like our last barnwood project. Sadly with covid it really limited me down to what I could do.
We went with a traditional plaque shape and mixed two stains together to get this amazing colour. I was impressed with the final overall look.
