While, chocolate is a safe and tasty treat for most humans, the same is NOT true for our pets. Unfortunately, Chocolate contains harmful chemicals that are toxic to our furry friends!

Please see the steps you should take if your pet gets into chocolate or other treats that may be harmful for them.

1. Collect information/evidence
- Collect and packaging or product information that was/may have been ingested.

2. Reach out for help
- Call your regular veterinarian immediately and relay all information you've collected.
- If your home vet is closed, please call an emergency vet hospital in the area for next steps.
