As a small business, it is important to recognize and support the community that supports us. Every year, Luna's Equine Designs sponsors shows, associations, clinics, and individual riders with donations of goods as prizes or to be auctioned off for fundraising.

I may not be rich, but I think the importance of giving back cannot be overstated. One of our donations was selflessly bought to be gifted to someone important to them as a Christmas present. This stall sign was a joy to paint. Thank you to Kendal Lehari for the opportunity to participate, and thank you for representing Canada so well. Thank you to Laura Chalmers for supporting Canadian Equestrians and small businesses.

Digital art

New digital painting featuring our continuous line style. Digital art is sometimes frowned upon by some artists for being an untraditional medium, however, having worked in both traditional and untraditional mediums, there are challenges and advantages to both. The advantage of digital art is that it can be easily reproduced and printed on canvas, mugs, totes, and made in to wall art or various goods. It's also cheaper to buy because it doesn't require purchasing materials like paint, medium, or canvas.

While it's hard to argue with the pleasure of really feeling the pushing of paint and brush in your hand, digital art is another great way to see your favourite horse, cat or dog captured.

Sometimes it takes a few tries to get it right -- Thank you to all our customers who patiently work with us to create their vision. Here is a neat example of all the versions of drawings before landing on the final. The customer provided great reference photos of their horses, and what they were looking for.

One of the greatest privileges as an artist is being given the opportunity to memorialize a beloved pet.

After 40+ paintings as well as Christmas ornaments during the 2022 holiday season, I'm excited to share some of the commissions. This picture comes from a happy gift recipient. Although I recognize how bittersweet it is to receive a portrait, I'm so happy when they reach out to thank me or tell me stories about their dearly departed.
