Anybody have room in their heart and home for a foster dog!
He needs to have no other dogs for the time being. Likely cats are not a great idea either, having surgery next week.

It has been a while since we posted a photo of the handsome Zeus, so here he is! Zeus is 12 years old now. Even when he was a young guy, Zeus was always nicknamed our grumpy old man. While Zeus still can be a grump, he has definitely softened up over the years, but don't tell him we told you!

Winter Storm Safety Tips:

Check to make sure gates and latches are secured.

If you don't have a fenced yard , take that dog out on a leash.

Feline owners please do a head count to make sure everyone is in the house.

Incase you have a door dasher, consider giving them their own room for the evening.

Have some good treats on hand, incase you need a sp*edy recall. Remember cats love the sound of a shaking treat bag.

Consider housing any animals trapped in the storm.

Be safe, stay warm and let's all hope Netflix isn't taken out by the storm.

This situation could easily happen to any dog, watch and learn, it could save a life.

Places you go like the dog park , a friend's home, or if you bring foster dogs in, be careful what you leave out for sharing and play. Even toys that look "safe" or the right size can have pieces break off and get lodged.

Map out your local emergency veterinariany practices and have contact numbers in your phone.

When people take part in a marathon, they train for months beforehand. So imagine training for months and months only to be beaten on the day by a dog that just happened to come across it while out for a p*e.
