My worst behaved client had her groom today- can't even describe how naughty and opposed to being groomed she is and keep telling her owner I'm not doing her again if her behaviour continues -oh wait- she's mine🤣🤣

Just a quick reminder to all clients..
My last appointment of the day during the autumn and winter will be at 2pm. If a de matt is required,- 1.30pm as the nights are drawing in, I have to consider my own pet walking duties!

I hate to mention this word but there are 2 grooming appointments left until Tinsel day!!

I'm taking the next 2 grooming appointments up to December 20th and any availability left will be offered to new clients so- please book early to avoid unnecessary disappointment.
Text or WhatsApp me your best dates and times and I'll get you booked in. Non refundable Deposits of £20 will be taken on bookings of the week running up to the big day and will be redeemed on your groom. 48 hrs notice to cancel will be required as it's the busiest time of year and admin goes out of the window in favour of making sure as many of my dogs are ready for the holidays!!

I had the sheer privilege of grooming 'the boys' daddy today! He met his babies for the first time (quite possibly more emotional for me and Clair than Baxter and Mabel!!)
For Baxters first groom by someone else - honestly -he was a little superstar!! It's been a super hot day today but he did his very best to keep still while we got through the sheer velocity of coat! Well done Beautuful Baxter 🩵🩵🐩

Little black is still waiting for his forever family to welcome him in to their lives🩵 his little brother leaves for his on friday. This is going to be an emotional rollercoaster zz

Our little black purebred PRA CLEAR toy poodle boy is ready to leave for his new home from Thursday June 27th. (Cream boy is now sold) Little black (Guinness for now) is clever, hilariously funny, affectionate and incredibly playful like his mum and dad!
He will leave with 1 months free insurance with Pet Plan, microchipped, 1st vaccination, puppy food to get you started, his favourite toy and blanket, a gorgeous book about how to care for him at each stage, a professional dog grooming comb and 1st slicker brush with an extensive information sheet on how to care for his wool coat throughout his life. He will also be professionally groomed prior to leaving as the boys have been groomed weekly since they were 3 weeks old.

Mable's adorable, funny, affectionate , very playful toy poodle boys🩵🩵 bailey is a cream, Guinness - self explanatory!
Ready to leave with their new families on July 2nd. They will be microchipped, 1st vaccination, wormed and preventative flea treated and will leave with an amazing puppy pack each and with 1 months free Pet Plan insurance. PRA clear and vets health test. Going to be very sad when they go because they're real little characters!

Daddy is KC stud Black & Tan Phantom Toy Poodle- 15 champions in pedigree- he's very sweet natured and just a gorgeous quiet little boy!
Mabel is my best friend, she isn't KC but purebred toy poodle with KC father. Mabel is a social butterfly as most of you already know- the family clown and very eager to please or happy just sit on your lap!

The boys will leave with a great puppy package,

Mummy Mabel and the boys are doing great! Mabel is still getting her head around motherhood but she's happy to do everything apart from cleaning bums- apparently that's my job😂

Mabel is learning to be a mum! She decided last night to give her boys a cuddle- she's starting to forgive them for hurting her! Little cream boy was heard crying and I found she had moved him under the bed, wet through and very upset- she had her own ideas on where she wants them😩 but she's been cuddling them all night with me in my bed! Setting my alarm every 2 hrs through the night to make sure they feed! Anyone would think I'd had these babies!!

A little announcement!
Mabel delivered 2 tiny boys in the early hours this morning - she was quite traumatised and hasn't taken to motherhood quite as well as we all thought😢 we are getting there slowly - they're feeding well from her but we have to be extremely careful. I'll keep everyone updated while we monitor everyone as I may need to step in and hand feed them yet. She's not quite understood these are her babies and squeaky pea is just a toy xx honestly they're little belters!🩵🩵

Then, after all that, your dog groomer needs to make a wage to pay their own bills and make provisions for sick and holiday pay because if we don't work we don't get paid if ww don't set aside for this!

For the price you pay you get a dog who

Gets a minimum of two shampoos..however many washes it takes to clean the dirt from them.

Conditioner

Nails trimmed

Nails filed if dog allows

Pads trimmed

Poopy bum cleaned

Eye bogies removed

Ears cleaned if needed

Dried with at least 2 types of hair dryer to make their coat perfect for grooming.

A bespoke clip/handstrip/scissors cut .

Products used are of the highest quality possible.
