Today our Izzy had her first teeth clean with our expert Teeth Hygienist Julie .. If you’re thinking teeth cleaning is just for older dogs think again! Izzy will be 2 years old in August and you can just see a small build up of plaque forming.

She took it in her stride and now they are looking so much better. To avoid costly veterinary bills and to keep good all round oral health for your dog it’s always best to start them young. Our sessions are £40 for the initial and £30 for top ups when booked routinely. (Every 3-6months depending on condition/diet etc )

Wow what a tough day 🥹… I can hand on heart say this part of the job never gets easier… thinking of the lovely dogs that have passed over the Rainbow bridge this week and sending love to their lovely owners.

Take comfort you gave them the best lives they could have wished for with you. I see it everyday in the parlour, Pure unconditional Love ❤️ 🐾

Sharing for one of my clients friends … This little Chihuahua ‘Betsie’ is looking for her forever home, if you are interested or may know someone looking for a new addition please let me know and I can pass on their number for a chat. She will be 5 years old in August.

I’m told she’s little timid but adores cuddles. She’s not good with big dogs but small dogs and cats she’s fine with. Good with children. She does have epilepsy but not on medication. If you think you could give her a loving home please let me know x

I’ve just seen this on Facebook and feel the need to share as it’s just heart breaking 💔 please be careful if you walk your dogs around Victoria Park.

I must admit I don’t personally feel comfortable with my Izzy off lead there as I’ve seen too many incidents with not very responsible owners. Although early morning see to be lovely. It’s not close to us so not our every day place to walk.

Sadly once again it’s a dog that’s been brought up in the wrong hands and the lady was drunk and irresponsible. This should never ever happen. Please be watchful if your out over there. I’d hate to hear anything had happened to any one else’s. Apparently she’s got three dogs.

1 more night to go to the big day 🤩… Hair done ✅ bra decorated ✅ my little boy decided he wanted to help he passed me all the coloured circles and he decorated his own T-shirt 😂

Saturdays are normally our busiest day at Spot On, but tomorrow i’m hoping I’ll be able to lay in and get some extra sleep as I’ll be walking all night.. can’t wait to share my nieces bra tomorrow it’s brilliant! Think Percy Pig vibes 😂 This night is meant to be full of colour, laughter and good vibes and lots of amazing stories from some amazing survivors and hearing about all those amazing people that sadly we have lost to this horrible horrible disease. It’s nearly time for our Moon Walk, we start our walking marathon around 10.30pm in London this Saturday, there is still plenty of time to donate, just £2 a number , I will be closing the prize draw of the hamper and free groom midnight Saturday but you are still welcome to pop a donation in. The unmarked numbers are still available.

After our 21 miler the week before, we took it easy this week and kept it local and walked around Ashford, enjoying a lovely sunny day Sunday enjoying the beautiful Conningbrook lake route.

Thinking of some of our beloved four legged friends our clients have lost these last couple of weeks 😢🖤

It’s always so sad to hear this news. We build such a unique relationship with our regulars and learn all their little quirks, likes and dislikes. A lot we have groomed from young puppies, choosing us to care for your dogs for all these years is such an honour and something we are immensely proud of 🙏

We can see every week how loved your dogs are and how excited they are to see you when you pick them up (even if it’s only been an hour 😂)

Today myself and my niece Chloe reached our longest training walk to date, just over 21 miles! We walked from Faversham to Whitstable and back. What a beautiful walk. Not bad for being awake at 3.30am from jet lag!

It was lovely to see so many dog walkers out and about with their dogs playing on the beach or having a swim. Will definitely be driving up with our Izzy for a coastal walk soon.

We have had so many people cheers us on with support which was lovely and even met a group of ladies also in Moon Walk training! One of the ladies we got chatting to today was in remission from Breast Cancer so it was really touching to hear her story, what a fighter 💖 she was telling us how she swims in the sea most mornings and enjoys the simple things in life so much more now.

CUSTOMER NOTICE: I Found another dog p**p on my drive yesterday 🙄 Please respect our property it is not only my business but our family home where our kids play out on their bikes! We should not have to be clearing up after your dogs on the driveway.

If your dog p**ps it’s not a big deal, if you do not have a bag, please ask, we always have plenty. We have an animal waste bin (the blue one) to the path of our grooming room we pay a fair amount of money a month to use. P**p bags can be put straight in this.

We will be banning repeat affenders as it’s just not nice for us or our customers, I’m sure you wouldn’t appreciate it at your homes.

Thank you to the majority of customers who wouldn’t dream of not cleaning up after your dog, it really is a very small minority x

Just wanted to say a huge great thank to all of the lovely gifts (and tips) we have recieved in the last couple of weeks. Never expected but always very much appreciated. We really to have the loveliest clients 4 legged and two! ### Needless to say the chocolates and biscuits are already opened and keeping us going on our busiest run up to Christmas 😂

Special delivery just came for Spot On … New clippers just in time for Christmas … worked hard for these beauties 🤩❤️ only the best for our vips 🐾🐾

Otis the lab x retriever visited us today...his owners were incredibly nervous of him coming to us due to his fear of noise. He could be aggressive if scared "There's no way your getting a hairdryer near him, so just groom him and towel dry him" , hates hoovers, bites at them..worried and nervous the owners left us to it.. here's how we got on 🥰 slow and steadily gave him his deshed and bath, towel dried him, lots of reassurance, watched for his reaction, his body language and before we new it.. One beautifully hairdried dog 🐕 💙 super proud of him! And we still have all our fingers! Not one sign of aggression. He had a little play and a duck treat too.
