This isn't a post I'm going to enjoy writing....

It is with mixed emotions that I am letting you all know that with effect from Saturday 23rd March 2024 2pm Weir Riding Centre will be closing its doors to the public.

The current climate for riding schools across the UK is incredibly challenging. The costs, the paperwork, the complex legal aspects and the stress of owning horses are making the industry an incredibly tough one to be part of.

For me personally this means I have to make changes. Weir Riding Centre will change to a livery yard and the number of horses will be reduced. The horses that won't be staying on as liveries will be relocating. They will continue to be loved and I will only find the best outcomes for them. I owe them everything and know how much you all love them. I will be able to confirm where they are going in the near future.

Please contact me to discuss any outstanding vouchers you have. These will be honoured until we close and of course pre-booked sessions will also be honoured.

I would like to thank each and every one of you who has walked through our stable doors. You and the horses have been the heart of the centre.

This isn't 'Goodbye' it is very much 'See you around'.

We have had a couple of places become available on our Sunday Pony Morning. Groom, care, ride and learn whilst having fun at our friendly riding stables run by the highly experienced and qualified instructor, Kaye Thompson.

10am-1pm just £20. Call Kaye to book in on 07949 477666.

We also have a some mid-week lesson spaces available too so if you've ever fancied learning or improving, now is the time! Absolute beginners through to experienced riders welcome.
