A beautiful tribute to … CHESTNUT …

“A fluffy friend... a fabulous friend. Chestnut was an inquisitive cat, no door could be closed, every corner must be investigated, a pen could not live on the table its place was on the floor – preferably under the sofa!

A jigsaw puzzle was the perfect place to have a stretch, an open bag was just magic for a snuggle and an amazon box oh what a treat!

A prim and proper lady, water must be drunk from a glass... but when it got too low, I’d squeak and fuss for more!

A bath you say... oh what fun I’ll join you later when you least expect me there! The shower curtains are just great for climbing so I’ll hang out there while you wash!

The garden was her favourite place... the veg plot provided the perfect spot for a nap. Camouflaged and cute, a hunter none the less... but the unfortunate prey had to come inside so mum could see my catch... and watch me chase it round the house, squeaks and
chirps galore!

Evening snuggles and tummy rubs were a winner and she’d always get the best spot in bed, the middle! Ignore her at your peril, she’d sleep on your head and squeak to wake you up!

That was my monster.”

In loving memory … DAISY …

“Our beautiful Daisydoo.

Daisy was my mums dog but she was always like our dog too. I spent most days at mums and when I wasn’t there Daisy and mum would be at ours. Sadly mum passed in October and without hesitation Daisy came to us. Unfortunately shortly after we found out Daisy was very ill. Daisy just turned 6 a few weeks ago so it was all very unexpected. She was the sweetest wee girl who was loved by so many people. Mum had carers in everyday and each one of them loved Daisy and she definitely had her favourites 😊 Daisy loved her bed and would always make a point of letting the carers know it was passed her 9pm bedtime if they stayed too long. My mums neighbour walked her every day and she would know at 1 o’clock when the phone rang it was time to go to the door. She was a fussy eater and would never eat her food knowing mum would give her what she was eating instead, her fave being sausages 😊 she was just as fussy with her toys and we had to always search for a specific teddy and mum would spend ages throwing James for her to catch. We have a German Shepherd and they were little and large but Daisy was definitely the boss. If they were having a treat Daisy would finish hers super quick and take the bits Blaze hadn’t eaten yet. You have left us heartbroken Daisy but I’m sure you’re having your sausages again with mum.”

In loving memory … BRINDI …

“We had to make the toughest decision to let our Beautiful GSP Brindi run free.
It was heartbreaking 💔 after having her for 14years.
I can’t thank Hayley at Aberdeenshire Pet Crematorium enough, for her professionalism , absolute kindness and attention to detail.
She was the most welcoming thoughtful lady .She made time for us on arrival and when we collected Brindi. Listening to us talk about her character and cute ways .
We are forever grateful and could not recommend her enough.
It’s the hardest thing to leave your beloved pet for the last time - They are your family .
Run free my beautiful ‘Brindi Pops’ ! 🥰”

Remembering … MAK …

When Mak was reaching the end of his life, his family reached out to me to ensure they would be able to give their beloved Mak the send off he deserved. He was such a huge part of their family, involved in every aspect of their busy lives. Listening to their stories of all they did together, a life full of adventures, paddle boarding, swimming, chasing balls I couldn’t help but think that Mak has truly lived a dog’s dream life. In return he brought so much love and joy into the lives of each of his family members. Mak was a real character, with his strategically timed flatulence, he was sure to get his point across and let everyone know when he was ready for his bed. The hole Mak leaves in the hearts of those who love him will be massive, and his memories will be cherished forever. 🌷

A beautiful tribute to … RICO …

Words are not enough to discribe how Hayley helped us through one of the hardest things that we have ever had to experience. I called Aberdeenshire Pet Cremation for advice as we had never had to deal with what we were about to do. It was with heavy hearts, time to say our goodbyes to Rico our chocolate lab.
Hayley explained everything we needed to know for Rico and we made the arrangements for after the vets home visit later that week.
Rico always enjoyed going away in the car so we took him on his final journey down to Aberdeenshire Pet Cremation.
Hayley was amazing with Rico from the moment we arrived at her premises. The kindness, care, compassion and understanding that Hayley had shown was just fantastic.
Hayley took time to listen to our stories and memories of Rico and how much he had been part of our lives for over 13 years. He was one of the family, he came everywhere with us
Hayley sat with us and discussed the options we could have for Rico . We had time to look around her displays of caskets, urns, jewellery etc to decide what we wanted for Rico. Hayley left us to have a look around while she went to prepare Rico in the farewell room so we could say our final goodbyes. We were taken aback by the Farewell room. The attention to detail was unbelievable. It made saying goodbye for the final time easier. There was chairs, candles, a plaque with his name on it, soft music and Rico laid out to rest with flowers round him. We could stay in the room until we were ready to finally leave him.
Hayley informed us that he would be individually cremated that evening and we would get him back the next day. This was a huge comfort to us knowing he would be at rest and back with us so soon. We also received lovely keepsakes which we will treasure.

We would highly recommend Aberdeenshire Pet Cremation and we have already done so. Hayley helped us get the closure that we needed to help us get through this difficult time. Fantastic service, compassion and understanding is out of this world.

Thank you very much Hayley for everything.

RIP RICO 🌈🐾

Remembering … DUSTY …

Dusty came into his family's lives at a difficult time, and he was like a therapy cat for them, he looked after all the family. When the boys were ill, he would be near them to comfort them (nick-named Dr Dusty), when the family lost a dear loved one, he would lay near and just be there in support. The most loyal companion, that he was.
Dusty made a friend in the cat next door, Quincy. They would often be caught wandering the streets together.
Dusty was some character, he was often caught stealing some food from the plates when he thought no one was looking, he would help himself to pouches of Whiskas and eat up to 4 per night if he could get his paws into the box. He would catch a mouse, take it home and play with it in the garden, and then when he had played enough, it would be game over for the poor mice.
In his short life, Dusty had been through alot, but he kept on going, he certainly used all of his 9 lives. He has left a permanent imprint on his family and will be sorely missed.
